I think they'll both be able to add an actually different fighting style to the mix. Krystal with her staff and Soren with his magic.

Isaac (Golden Sun): First, this series deserves some representation here. And, I think that Isaac could be a great "all-arounder." He could use powerful elemental attacks and swift sword attacks.

The DS Stylus: Weird, I know, but hear me out. The Stylus could draw things for its special attacks, and poke, spin and bash for its regular attacks. Like Mr. Game and Watch, the Stylus would be so bizarre that it would be its own character niche. Just for fun, when other characters try to grab and throw DS Stylus, they could use him like an item to smack around other players.

Isaac's an assist trophy in Brawl, although he might get promoted like Charizard did.

I think the DS Stylus is more suited as a weapon or assist trophy than a character in its own right, but it might work. I mean, they had G&W and ROB

Although I have yet to play any SSB title, I'd like to see some Castlevania characters in the mix. Such as Soma, Julius and Juste.

Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon would fit in well too.

I've always been a fan of the classics and as I was poking about my N64 collection I realised that SSBB should have included Marina from Mischief Makers. True her only direct talent was to grab and shake, but using things from the game such as Missile surfing and her friend Teran she could be a very fun and unique character. She should have been included in Brawl instead of people like Ike.

Smash Bros isn't a button-mashy game, if you're playing against anybody reasonably competent. Spam tactics, yes (to an extent), but random button mashing won't do much for you.

Isaac was arguably the most generic JRPG character there is. Felix has a little more subtlelty to himself. And he looks a lot better. I support him over Isaac.

Travis Touchdown, as realistically he would be the most suited for this sort of game - wrestling moves make interesting special attacks, and a final smash similar to his random superpowers
Midna and Wolf Link, as the agility and power balance seems to fit the bill of this game well.
Majoras Mask Link (think a much cooler version of Pokemon Trainer)(Final Smash - Fierce Deity mask), as a tribute to, if not the best, then quite certainly the most original Zelda game made.
Liquid Snake, as we need someone who can actually use a Metal Gear as a final smash.
Conker (I think that the position has changed, and Rares properties are likely to be sold back to Nintendo after Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts flops - Ok, I just really want Rare to go back to Nintendo and go back to making great games, is that too much to ask?) because, well, look at the guy. Its one of the most obvious characters there is.
An original version of Ganondorf, because quite frankly, he's getting pathetic.

But to cause some controversy, how about toon Zelda from windwaker? To complement toon Link. Could also have a Goran with rolling attacks and bomb/rock throwing (Tho he'd probaly play just like Yoshi)

Dixxie Kong? All i'm imagining is a spin/flying attack with her pony tails... Oh, and Tails from Sonic has to be a must, with Knuckles as second choice.

Maybe one of the other bounty hunters from metroid games? Some more characters from F-Zero would be ace also. You've got Jody Summers as a bounty hunter, and the fat Samurai guy (whos an assist trophy I do believe?)

With veterin character, I think they should include all previous ones, except pichu who was the most useless pile of $£!% ever.

You're forgetting about the wise one, he would be awesome because he'd just float there and attack with invisible psychic attacks.

Malcolm Reynolds from Serenity/Firefly. Combination of brawling, military combat and guns.

An imperial Commissar from WH40K. You don't even have to know who they are to appreciate chainswords.

Luca Brasi, from the godfather game, I want a character with a lead pipe and a tommy gun.

Knuckles (Sonic the hedgehog) because well, he is a fighter, smash bros is a fighting game, if you're gonna include another sonic character logically it should be the one who actually fights the most in sonic games. Plus he could have different moves to sonic like uppercut(from advance) and glide(from anything).

Ray MK II (custom robo arena) as the series is yet to get a charcter in a smash game(albeit one was an assist trophy) and Ray MK II just happens to be my favourite from the ray robo series. Obviously his parts wouldn't be the default ones from the games but some of the better parts. Final smash could be Soulboost.

Dark Samus (metroid prime trilogy) just because she's an awesome character with unique moves and the metroid series is severly underepresnted.

Ridley (metroid series) again because the metroid series needs more characters and ridley is everyones favourite boss. Plus unlike kraid he could reasonably be a character size-wise perhaps around the smae size or a bit bigger than bowser.

Oh and shade from sonic the dar brotherhood with percent lowering leech moves.
And maybe big daddy.
