So if it's subjective then surely the opinion that it isn't worth the hype is as valid as the opinion that it does. And therefore, threads questioning the hype are as valid as threads about how good the game looks. Isn't it funny how for something that's supposedly subjective and therefore allows multiple opinions, expressing one particular opinion is wrong, wrong, wrong quick report it? |

There's inevitably going to be a barrage of hype whenever a big name game is about to be released because hype is what encourages pre-orders (aka guaranteed sales). The publishers get the ball rolling with a few trailers and then the fans take care of the rest. It's a well-oiled machine. |

I'm not even that excited about Fallout 3, stop drawing conclusions. Regardless, you should see that these threads are simply bait for the flames and serve no real purpose other than arguing with other people about whether or not the hype is justified and then it just becomes pointless, as I said previously. Am I the only person at the escapist who isn't looking forward to Fallout 3 and Fable 2 as if they were the next Messiah? I mean Fallout 3, I will probably get sooner or later, but I don't feel that either of these games are gonna be amazing. And what's more, as far as I can tell (so don't quote me on this) but aren't there a lot of similarities between them? So just your thoughts/opinions/justifications on these 2 games.
