Yes, it's evident from this post over at Kotaku that Mr. Boy is quite the gamer, boasting two big screen TV's (in rooms about five meters apart), an extensive game collection, including two copies of Halo 3 (why?), two copies of Guitar Hero 3 (again, why two?) and just about every sports and fighting game made for the console.

He also goes on to offer ass-whoopings to Xbox Live players "for free", show off his gamertag and gamerscore, and reveal that he has a live vision camera, a white PS3, and a pink 360 controller.

Frankly I'm not sure if this is supposed to be some kind of joke or not, and I also doubt whether he actually plays any of those games for more than three seconds. I mean, he has about seventy of them but his gamerscore's only 3337. Mine's nearly double that and I own about ten.

Anyway, thoughts? Anyone laughing as hard as I am?

The point is, with a gamer score like that with all those games, he's not a gamer. He's just some jerk showing off his junk. With all of those games, and that little a gamer score he's just some punk trying to say he's better cuz he has a pink controller. He's got it just to have it and doesn't use it. I have a quarter of the games he does, and almost four times the gamer score he does if I include both my accounts. That's just the xbox, and I dont even play that often.

It's like if Paris Hilton bought a gold and silver chess board, played a few times in the park and tried to come off to the vast community of chess players out there as one of their own.

Got nothing against the guy, or his music, I dont like it so I dont listen to it, but when you're being a snob you need a gears of war style curb stomping.

He had two copies of Halo 3, two copies of Guitar Hero 3, I'm pretty sure I saw both a regular and limeted edition of COD4, and he had one copy of just about everything else that's come out for the 360. But it's still bloody ridiculous.

I didn't bother watching to much. I watched about the first 20 seconds because he sickens me so I didn't hear him say much. Except "show them my gamerscore" and then I left. His voice just reminds me of hiphop and all that other stuff.

This. I didn't watch the video (no sound on this comp and strictly speaking I should be doing "work", but nevertheless the fact that he's put out a "challenge" to people and is offering "free ass kickings" tells me that he's a bit of a douche. Trash talking is all very well, generally it happens in game, however telling people you're unbeatable at no less than four mainstream titles is just a tad arrogant I think.

true, he won't be very good at games, i doubt he even plays them, hes just tring to show off, but even if he was good, who cares, I bet 90% of the players on live could beat him easily.

edit : I think its a joke, I mean, I have played 18 games (most rented because I can't afford them) and have nearly double his GS, he must know that 3000 is a low GS.

PS : I have about 18 games and my gamerscore is currently around 19xx for three reasons :
I haven't been doing much grinding in VF5
Too many achievements require an XBL Gold subscription (like The Club or Perfect Dark Zero, which I haven't played live at all)
I was short on schedules and couldn't spend half a day grinding Lost Planet or Crackdown away, for instance... In fact, with the exception of DW Gundam, I haven't beaten a single of my 360 games so far (maybe DBZ BL too).

A lot of achievements need online or otherwise, but that's not really my point. If you had 60 of so 360 games and played them to a reasonable extent you'd undeniably have a gamerscore higher than his. My point by it was, he's just showing off and acting a fool.

Ok so i dont even have an xbox and that video made me want to get one and buy halo 3 just to put the guy to shame just for the plain and simple fact of it would be funny to watch someone who thinks a 3k gamerscore is high get beat by someone with a gamerscore of 0 (i know how they work because my cousin is an addict and i use to play while he was asleep >:D )

Don't forget all of the other games he just threw on the floor that didn't deserve it. And I didn't see one RPG in his "collection", not even a mainstream blockbuster like Mass Effect

Since I don't know him from Adam (and don't care enough to Google him), the video just looked like a typical young adult bragging about his skills as a gamer. Whoop dee doo. I can't wait for a 12 year old to post a video reply of them tea bagging his corpse over and over in Halo 3. Or maybe a curb stomping montage in Gears of War.

Gamerscore? Who cares about their gamerscore? It's based on achievements, most of which are incredibly easy to get. I couldn't tell you what mine is without looking, but I know it's over 9000.

Well, there's 3000+ points there, it's not a 0. With the amount of money he's got he doesn't go out buying 1 game and go through it entirely, he just buys 10 and buggers around with 9 for a while and plays 1 to finish, he's on a completely different metric.

Yes you do. You've got 12.000 points. That's 12 games front to back. That's a lot for most people (including me, I've finished a whole 3 games this year so far, just storymode on default difficulty).
