How big is your game collection? Are you a hoarder or do you have a small collection of über games? Are you a completist who has to have all the games of one franchise or even all the games of one particular system?

I have a rather modest collection. My main collection consists of about 100 PC games. I also have a very small collection of Gameboy Advance and DS titles and about 15 PS2 games. Nothing special as you can see but my PC collection is growing very rapidly the last few months.

My game collection is average. I sold a lot of the ones I didn't play recently so that lowered it a lot. I usually don't sell games though.

I've yet to find enough good (in my opinion) games to warrent having a stupidly large collection. Though I do have some games for value purposes.

Probably about a hundred amassed over ten years.

I don't have many, but it's steadily growing.

I know someone who has a full book case of them, which I imagine is a lot.

My game collection fills a single book shelf of my rack of shelves, and they're stuffed in quite efficiently. I do sell some from tmie to time though, in order to get new ones on.

my game collection is massive...if you count Commodore 64 Tapes ^^, but on more recent consoles its rather small, i have about 10 on N64, 20 something for NES and 1 or 2 SNES games, im going to start a collection once i get a job and can move out from my moms house, but up until then its sadly Emulators thats the thing for me :/

small

stupidly small

5 games or so

I rent most of the time and I trade in alot of games, having a collection seems pointless, and I don't feel like re-playing games most of the time (unless its fable or something that is replayable)

Remember its not the size of the collection that matters, its how you use it

I, like an idiot, traded in a lot of my older games, and now I'm kicking myself for such an action. Really though, I have a decent sized collection of games ranging from two arcade machines, Atari, all the way up through the current generation.

Ah, good old C64 tapes. Those take me back. My cassette player for them broke, however :(
I remember putting a game casette into a regular casette player once, and it made a high-pitched squeal of a noise.

I'd say about 150 games give or take.

50+ PS2 Games
10+ Xbox360 games
20+ Gamecube Games
5 PS3 Games
10 PS1 Games
30+ PC Games
8 DS Games
3 GBA Games

So that's around 130? I really don't care that much about doing the exact math.

I'm not one to get wrapped up in collecting, especially with modern games since i can trade those in to buy more games and so forth, but some of the older stuff, well I have a collection of that. About 20 Atari Catridges that I recovered from my town's library, 17 NES titles, about 15 Genesis titles, 3 N64 games, 3 PS1 titles, 4 PS2 titles, 6 Wii titles, 10 Xbox 360 titles, one Xbox title, 8 DS games, 2 GBA games, and 2 older game boy games that I just hold onto for posterity's sake.

PC titles I don't have an exact number but I'll guess around 30

Being in college and having roommates with consoles has made it less important for me to actually buy games unless we need them for multiplayer purposes.

I have about a dozen games for each of the following:
Mega Drive/Genesis
Saturn
Dreamcast

Probably about 20 on PC.

Probably about 6 on the Wii and another 6 on the 360. So that gives us:

68
Holy shit!

Oh well, that's nothing on my 400 DVDs.

60 or so, I traded in like 16 games awhile back though. As a note, I was afraid to click this thread because I thought you were asking us a little something that's more personal.

I'd say: less than 20 Xbox 360 games
Maybe 25 (give or take) Gameboy Advance (probably my favourite console :P)
About 7 Gameboy/ Gameboy Colour
10 Xbox
10+ Playstation
7 Gamecube
2 NES (I WANT MOAR!)
8 Megadrive/Genesis
6 DS (I sold quite a few)
5 N64

It sounds like a lot but it doesn't feel like it oddly :\
I'd say I've completed 95% of them too.

Very small. Only the real classics (Mario 64,Halo,Super Mario Bros.) and new ones (Fable 2,Gears of War,Crisis core). I trade in most of my games.

About this big:
|---------------|
(not to scale)

Seriously though, it's actually gotten smaller since I sold my NES, my N64, and my Gamecube along with all the games that went with them. But it's still considerably large.

On 1UP you can list all the games you have and it will tell you the total value of your collection according to current shop prizes.
Mine is over 15 000 $. It scares me.

I still own an N64, Gamecube, and Xbox 360 and I don't think I have more than 6 games for each console. PC I can't even remember with how many times I've pried games from bargain bins, but I can't imagine it being that much.

I'd say I was somewhat of a collector, I tend to buy games I like then just hold onto them after completeing them. I'm not about to count them all but a rough guess would be well over 600+ games across many systems with my PC probably having about 200 or so of those.

Well, I have about 25 Xbox 360 games, maybe 10 for PC, 7 for my PSP and still haven't bought a single one for my PS3.

I have about 25 games for my xbox, 6 titles for my GBA, might try to get metroid zero mission and I would guess 20 games for my pc, i have a cd holder case full, and a smaller cd case half full of pc games.

I am one of those guys who buys, and then trades in. I am a starving student, I don't have gobs of money to throw at new games; thus It is a constant cycle of buying and trading.

Got about 6 360 games that I refuse to part with, and about 20 PC games.

I'm a bit whimsical when it comes to games, I play one then move onto the next. I take whatever enjoyment from a game and then move on to the next one, rarely going back to it. Sometimes they pile up, gathering dust, whilst at other times my 'game shelf' will have only one or two games. My favourite games linger for years, but only in my memories. The closest thing to a game collection is my N64 and seven games!

I'm a collector, but I have discerning tastes and tend to 'cull the herd'. I probably only buy 3-8 games a year. I got rid of my older consoles and most accompanying titles. Between old computer CDs, recent computer games, 360 and wii, I'd say I have about 40-60 titles.

I have very few physical games. I have the DoW anthology, civIII, civIV, Ground Control 1 and 2, Morrowind GOTY edition... and not much else.

The rest of my games, are blowing in the wind, the rest are just blowing in the wind.

Just over thirty 360 games and like ten fairly recent PC games. Though, I would have to expand this list to massive if I included all of the old PC games, especially the educational Windows 95 ones I still have.

I have a good enough sized game collection, about 80 Nintendo games(from all consoles,NES-Wii), 30 or so sega games, about 15 PC games(granted most of them are from like 10 years ago), and like 30 Xbox games, and of course the built in pong on the ancient Atari :P
