Eragon for the Xbox 360 was all kinds of bad. F4:ROTSS is close, though.

Assassins Creed and skate.

EVERY SINGLE TIME I play skate. I fall asleep.

I wish I was kidding.

My vote goes to Football Manager 2007. And, by extension, all other football management games.

I have no interest in the sport whatsoever but I was trying to find enough games for a '5 for £30' deal and this was the only one I didn't already have so my friend threw it in and said he'd take it home for his brother. He never did, it's still sitting on the shelf right in my eyeline as I write this. Said friend is actually visiting this week, I might get him to take it with him when he leaves, or at least see if he'll let me trade it in for something that's not shit. I've tried to play it, did so for about half an hour before I was confused beyond redemption and bored into a state of near rigor mortis. Imagine crossing Microsoft Access with Excel, then filling it with head-crushing amounts of real life information about real life teams and players.

The most interesting thing was that I ended up, by sheer chance, being the manager of a tiny team that plays about five minutes from where I live.

World of Painfully impaling Warcraft. No offence, but I believe that the fact that a game that causes such an absolute outrage being absolutely shit (I sometimes use mine as a frisbee and get more fun out of it) just proves the point that the world has gone fuck itself right up the bum (Economical crisis, *cough*)

Need for Speed Prostreet, for me is like watching paint dry. I hate racing games that are like that, and trying to make it interesting with customization did nothing for it.

oooh yea, i know what you mean.

Republic: The Revolution.

I'll third that. Saw it for a tenner in the bargain bucket a few years ago, back of the box made it look interesting. It really wasn't. There must have been less then 10 minutes between it finishing installing and then being uninstalled again. Luckily, took it back the next day complaining that it was faulty and got a full refund. Which I then used to buy Dungeon Keeper 2 if I remember correctly. (loved that game, still optimistically hoping for a sequel.)

Half Life 2. I honestly tried. I really did. It just isn't for me.

Half life 2 and armored core formula front. Although with formula front it can only be considered boring if i spend way too much time trying to perfect my robot.

PAIN is incredibly boring, and once you buy the whole thing you need to buy EVERYTHING else, you seriously get one level and one character, and have to buy everything else.

I got bored of Assassin Creed and sold it. I liked many parts of it but thought overall it was lacking. I loved the combat, the assassin kills, the NPC inhabitants, and the cities. But it was very repetitive. It had the same damn quests/goals over and over again. After four or five cites of the same things over and over again I just got board and did not want to finish it. I wish that is was more varied in it's quests. It is like the dev ran out of ideas and just kept using them over and over again. I hope then next one is more varied.

Dragon Warrior 1 for the NES, it's nothing but grind. Hours and hours of killing the same monsters over and over again just to be able to afford the next strongest weapon and armor, and it was very light on story elements. Still, it was the first RPG I ever played so back in the day I thought it was amazing.

I'd regret the purchase had it cost me anything; fortunately Nintendo Power was giving away free copies with subscriptions back in the day.

Wow, I'm surprised no one said MGS4 or something.

As for me though, GTA4 was really boring after the 8th hour or so. I didn't really find much to do as much as I did in San Andreas.

Harry Potter and the order of the pheonix on the PSP. Tore away the hand waving aspect and offered lengthy akward to see footprints and a list of fetch and carry objectives. Oh, and for the PSP version they took out the fixable everything aspect of the PS2 version, which I played at a friends and loved.

Oblivion, if only because I've played it upwards of 400 hours and have exhausted pretty much every mod for the game ever released.

My retro option would be Zero Wing. (The bosses were hard and annoying, the rest of the levels were absurdly easy and sleep-inducingly boring.) More recently, Sim City Societies. (Yahtzee was sooo right about that one.)

i would have to say STALKER. first couple sessions was kinda fun. after that i kept playing because i felt that i should. while playing this game, i got so bored i turned it off so i could get things done. things like laundry, watch seinfeld episodes for the millionth time, housecleaning, and general maintenance around the house and yard simply because it is more fun. what a turd.

Assassins Creed.

Just didn't deliver on the assassin part, which was the part I was interested in. For sandboxing, I have GTA.
