No words describe them. They are the lowest form of cheaters.
Those guys are assholes.
W-Item for the win... | |
What about missingno in Pokemon? That was like my favorite glitch of all time and I didn't feel like I was cheating. I just thought who ever figured it out was really, really clever. Does that make me an evil glitch exploiter? I think exploiting some glitches is less wrong than others.
Oh... I thought this was going to be a glitches that have happened to you discussion... On thread: The same thing that happened to WaW beta happened in TF2 a while ago. Very annoying. I don't like glitches because it isn't the other player's fault that it's there so it shouldn't be used against them. If I were playing a developer of the game I would use said glitch to
Glitches can be a good source of innocent fun too. The early days of WoW (and before there were PvP Arenas or Battlegrounds where this could be exploited) had all kinds of terrain glitches that made exploring the nooks and crannies occasionally quite surprising. It was addictive in some ways. I always enjoyed spotting an interesting off-limits set piece area during a fly-over and seeing if I could find a way to get there. I have to believe that Blizzard left a few of these in as "easter eggs" for the adventurous to find. The airfield behind Ironforge, for example, had all kinds of planes and buildings and scripted fights even during the beta testing period. That strikes me as a fair bit of hand-made content to leave in the game when people wouldn't (in theory) ever be able to see it up close. There was even a little sign at the top of the mountain nearby. Other glitches can actually expand the gameplay or life of a game. MarioKart 64 for example had a famous glitch in the Wario track where you could skip large portions of it -- but which also took some solid skill and timing to pull off. Some of the best and most intense races I had against other people was where we'd both be using the exploit and knew that one screw-up would loose the race.
I've found one glitch in a UT2K4 server in a map remake of De_Dust, you could walk in the air if you had some skill with your Translocator.
Be even more hilarious if they don't fix that for the full release of COD: WaW.
| |
Being a priest in the early days of World of Warcraft was fun, before they fixed fearing people off of cliffs.
the only glitches I utilize are in Mass Effect, lol.. I use the infinite Paragon/Renegade glitches pretty extensively, but I've played it through without using them a few times, getting both achievements without glitching, but because it has lasting gameplay ramifications, I can't finish a game without full Paragon/Renegade. I think using a glitch in a competitive multiplayer game is low though.
Mind controlling people still works :)
CoD4 has tons of glitches. theres one where you can get on top of buildings you aren't supposed to, you can get out of a good portion of the maps, my favorites are the ones where you can go from ground floor on a building to the second floor without ever entering the building.
What's with the team fortress 2 one? where people go off the map? Very annoying it is
Yes, it still does, but trust me when I say that it is one thing to MC someone off a cliff, but another thing completely to run onto a zeppelin full of horde and fear them all off.
On topic I tend to exploit glitches all the time, if not at someone elses expense. Like the infinite Gold Skulltulas in Ocarina of Time. Off Topic: Whats with that Noble badge thing.
Shamans with there new 51 elemental talent can do that. Kicks people 20yards away from you.
I like the flipping car glitch in Gears...it's like a carnival ride, without the smell of lost hope and burnt corndogs...
Just encountered dead space glitch dead necromorph stuck in my armpit...
Using glitches in single player is the same as typing in a cheat... which I think is a total waste of a game, kinda kills the challenge of the game. Using glitches in multiplayer is very very very low however. Gaining an unfair advantage in a game is like saying, I'm a cheating noob.
Death to on-line cheaters. Otherwise glitches suck. Death to glitches.
If it's a glitch that anyone can use, I don't see the problem.
i once encounterd a glitch where my health would not regenerate cant remember what game it was though
Normally, im right against glitching however this is a BETA and as such its the sort of thing we should be trying to do... to an extent. - I mean pissing off a few people and making it known is good but its being used to death now and ive been in 2 games today where an entire team has been under ¬_¬.
Incoming Fable 2 glitch. Intro: How to do it: Notes:
was this on pokemon red and blue? i found it too and made unlimited rare candies hehe
If it's a fun glitch that doesn't take away the fun of a game (like in TF2 when you jump and you hang there for a second) I don't see the problem, it's no worse then crabwalking spies. In single player, I don't see the problem with them either, it's not like your taking the fun away from other people. Also, I know how to glitch Halo 1 for PC where you don't need the CD, now me and my friends can play with eachother using one copy.
I hate it when I watch a speedrun video and people just glitch their way through the game. That's bullshit. I saw Oblivion in 11 minutes (apparently). When after 8 minutes they weren't out of the first dungeon I was suspicious. There is actually a speedrun for Morrowind which looks like it's done with loads but has a description of how it was done and it's pretty sweet.
Oh, it was Pokemon blue. I used it to get unlimited master balls.
lol its there on red 2 i get rare candies never thought of master ball though...oh well its too late anyway i used master ball on wats his name....mew thats the dude lol little pink thing
Ive only found gliches such as getting out of the map on Halo 3. Glitches are meant for lulz in private games, if you use them in Ranked you suck.
alright, i know it's may not technically be a glitch, more of an "exploit" but FUCK WAVE DASHING YOU %&((*%$&(%^&(*^$#ING PRICKS!
Where do I start? Okay here. If you're playing THPS2 for the N64, and using a user created level with a huge spike pit, then either bail just outside of it, or go into it holding a grab trick, (not either, I can't remember which works) you land in the spake pit, allowing you to ride around.
Oo forgot this one: Simpsons Hit and Run. Either of Homer's level or Marge's level. Flaming Tire Pit. Fast car, jump cheat. Get some speed, then jump off the ramp at the last second. You go flying. Land in the water, you go underwater and can drive around there. Or you just go flying and hit an invisible wall. That works too.

i've started this thread to see what glitches you guys have found in games and what you think of them and the people that use them. Personaly I hate people that exploit glitches although I haven't found many that really give someone an unfair advantage. One exception to this is a glitch I recently found people using in the COD:world at war beta where someone can get under the map where they cannot be seen or shot, and shoot up at everyone.what do you think of these people?
