You may not have died out, but your still more annoying then Yahtzee if I met him in person (and then kicked him in the nuts, and pay his hospital bill, because thats the love/hate relationship I have with his reviews).
Poor you. Why choose a limited DLC over the tools? That's sheer dumbness. FIRST release the tools and let the mods fix a LOT of issues on the PC versions then make some sort of armor for Dogmeat stick 20$ in it and send it to Xbox to pander "things" like you. Am I selfish for wanting the game I payed fixed? If yes color me confused.
Look, I have nothing against them fixing up the game, in fact I've encountered my fair share of "Oblivion" esque stress points and bugs while prowling the Wasteland with "Fawkes," but what I'm saying is, how the fuck is Bethesda going to realease SDK's for the console versions! Seriosly!!! I don't wanna bye the game again! Even with the promise of brezzing through it with cheatcodes!!!

Way to not act like an elitist PC jerk. Maybe I didn't have the money to get a desktop PC after getting a laptop for college and I'm too busy using my money to keep place where I lay my head, keep it heated, light and connected to the internet, as well as stocked with food.
Also, I don't see how releasing the SDK is 'fixing it'. Perhaps I'm unaware of how PC games have errors and without the SDK it makes fallout3 an utter unplayable piece of shit, but maybe your machine sucks if my known for freezing and blowing up Xbox can play it, only freezing after having played it for ages.

Also it's your fault for not having the money to buy a desktop so why bring that on me? I certainly couldn't care less about your personal life.

You know what? No, just no. I don't feel like getting into it right now.
Jaythulhu: What's the point of dlc if the game doesn't work properly in the first place?
Although an sdk would gives some programmer fans a chance to correct some bugs I guess.
the game worked fine for me. and i would like to see "the commonwealth" which is supposedly what is left of massachusetts, which has very good technology. it would give Bethesda a chance to put in more (and better) energy weapons, or more creative quests. or maybe a mini-story mode. something new altogether.

i agree with dirk, id rather have my xbox which works than a desktop, i had one and it bricked on me so now i tend to edge more towards "reliable" than "big thing with flashing lights that only sometimes lets me be entertained"
ok hold on SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILERSPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILERSPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER
that should cover it
how about 1)you wake up in the water, swim out and get to land, free to do whatever you want in the wasteland forever. and how about dogmeat being able to be brought back as a zombie dog that cant die. then you, your dad (who also is zombie dad), and zombie dogmeat go around killing anything that moves... yeah i'd buy that

Hang on, you're taking the King of Bricking, the 360, over something like a PC which is one of the pinnacles of reliability if you know just a bit about PC tech (or even just have a friend/family member who knows about it)? You crazy son, you crazy.

Actually I'm happy that such people stay away from my nesting grounds, more retards (I'm not calling anyone anything) on the xbox means less on the PC. Right? RIGHT?!
well to explore other major cities will be fun i dont think anyone will disagree with that. Also new weapons is also an automatic in the DLC im sure. The new guns, monsters, missions and areas are all gonna happen so lets have fun with it. As for guns why not have something with like a future tech spin on it not just a laser shot weapon. As for areas other major cities in the U.S. would be nice but wouldnt it be cool to maybe have to visit a city on another country and give something cool to ride in and some differnt radio stations

P.S. To those of you who did talk about DLC, go more "in depth" for quests and "weapons". I want to see your knowledge of previous Fallout games, or your knowledge of how to look up the various items, charcters, etc, etc on Wikipedia, or better yet "Wikia."

... the fuck? Christ man, eat some valium.
There is some truth in his post that it WOULD kick major ass if developers started to offer some manner of SDK -> console bridge. I think given the present infrastructure of Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo's respective online service and system setup, its probably a pipe dream. While I believe it would help to sell more consoles to PC gamers, it would undermine the apraised value of official DLC and harm business interests, nevermind the logistical nightmare of implmenting some form of it.
Toiboi: well to explore other major cities will be fun i dont think anyone will disagree with that. Also new weapons is also an automatic in the DLC im sure. Dude!!! For the visiting other cities part... I said that at the beginning of this post!!! Yeah! Using a Vertibird to go to the locations of the previous Fallouts, like "Junkyard" or whatever city is home to the "North California Republic" and "The Vault Dwellers Son."
P.S. I also thought that the ending was gay and as anti-climactic as many of "Edgar Allen Poe's" strories (I'm lokking at you "Cask of Amontillado!"
While I'd love to see the old locations faithfully rendered in 3D, I don't think any DLC or expansion pack is going to take us back to the west coast. My money is that any significant expansion will take us north to the Commonwealth and Institute that Dr. Zimmer in Rivet City hailed from, but is not within the bounds of the capital wastes.
Regarding Bethesda's witheld SDK, I think they're shooting themselves in the foot, given that any game's mod community extends its longevity and people were still making new mods for Fallout 1 and 2 pending the release of 3. I expect their reasoning is to A) artificially inflate the value of official DLC and B) avoid a "hot coffee" incident when someone predictably makes children killable.

I love how the Xbox is supposedly the king of bricking, yet, mine, and the Xboxes of those I know, have not bricked and any failure or returns were due to human/animal intervention or returning it to get a new warranty out of paranoia.
Also, some of us aren't able to afford a PC at the moment. Some of us would very much like to have a nice desktop with which to play around with SDK's for games like oblivion or Fallout, when it comes out.

Perhaps if you'd purchased one instead of a 360, you could?
You can say bring as much anecdotal about failure rates of the 360 as you want (mine personally hasn't failed yet either), but the stats are there to back up that it does have a relatively higher failure rate than its counterparts.

My original 360 was a gift. Subsequent gifts have included a Macbook and an updating of my rooms furniture, sound equipment and television. Cash money to make a computer with is this year's goal. Along with finding my unemployed ass a job.

I think someone gave it to him or something of the sort.
I'd like a joke mod with some Oblivion sound files, like swapping the bandit's & raider's voice files.
I'd love to hear someone shout "I've fought Mud Crabs tougher than you!", & random people talking about Mud Crabs & how they bumped into Raymond Jermane.
I'd also love to hear the Merc in Craterside Supplies greet you with "Well ain't you the High Tom Titty", or other people say "You look like a fit one" & "Look at the muscle on you".
Since they used all the same voice actors, it wouldn't be that out of place & pretty funny.
Maybe it could be worked into Wadsworth, a new joke option, where he just says random Oblivion crap.

They could add in a entire town of insane people that say Oblivion and Morrowind lines and wear ancient clothing. Because after all, Fallout games are not based on realism.
Agreed but why not motorcycles parts for them are laying around everywhere. I"m sure with a high enough repair skill we can rebuild one.
Finally.
More Wadsworth jokes. I would pay 100 Points / $5 to hear my robot buddy talk / joke in my home.
