Frybird: I agree that a Sequel to Mass Effect has to have even greater and harder decisions to make, and i hope they go with the renegade ending as canon, with the Council replaced by Human Leaders that don't really fit well with just about anyone else.
And over the course of the Game, you could become the Lapdog for the Human Rulers, a symphatisant of a ruthless resistance, or just a careless kind-of better mercenary.

...The Trailer should reflect that...and should have some mind boggling image in it, like the normandy burning or Shepard facing a whole Battalion of Reaper-Ships.
But i can't come up with any good music, except maybe "The Tower that ate people" by Peter Gabriel
I just saw the new Star Trek movie trailer. I'm kind of ambivalent about it (the new Spock just looks stupid), but I thought it'd be awesome if the Mass Effect Trailer looked like that, with blazing ship battles and intercut dialogue.
Or, in Nihlus' case, that he did kick ass, past tense. Rest in peace, Nihlus.
I just bought that game and I was like "wtf, he died already". Shame, he had the potential of being a sweet character, plus I think he had the coolest looking Turian face

Those were my thoughts exactly. That's why he's my avatar.
Haha cool cool. I'm like 25 hours into my first play through. I've finished the first three main planets (not including Eden Prime and the Citadel) and the next level is the one that starts with a V. Of course that's with doing all the side quests I find. I actually have like 4 more lined up before I start the next planet.
Also I'm wondering if I should download Bring Down the Sky. Thoughts on that?

Ah, Virmire. The best in my opinion.
And Bring Down the Sky? If you can spare the money it's a nice quest.

Agreed, Bringing Down the Sky is one of my favorite missions in the game. I am stoked for the 2nd one, I am going to have to dig Mass Effect out again and play some more.

Well I got a few Microsoft Points to spare so I'll probably pay up once I beat the game.
So far I'd say that Feros and Noveria are my favorite. Feros had the mind control aspect but the Rachni thing on Noveria was pretty cool. I'll have to get back to you on my opinions about Virmire.
I think that in the second game, one of the main quest locations should be at the Quarine Migrent Fleet. I was thinking that the plot could be a potential civil war brewing between two factions withen the fleet (I remember somthing in the codex saying somthing about how the captians of smaller ships are always at odds with the larger ships, mabe this could be expanded upon)and you have the power to decide what faction comes out on top which would effectivly put you in control of the fate of the Quarian race.
RebelRising: I did enjoy that mission. And where most decisions took me under 30 seconds to make. Balak's ultimatum left me pondering for quite a while.
Actually, I have made three Mass effect videos; I can't believe I forgot about them.
Love the law and order one. You should make a series out of that, put the actors' voices over the characters'.
scnj: Black screen. Sovereign's words play: "We are eternal. The pinnacle of evolution and existence. Before us, you are nothing. Your extinction is inevitable. We are the end of everything."
Images of rioting on the citadel streets. Voiceover of newsreader: "Following the attack on the citadel, riots have escalated as relations between species hits a new low."
Image of Hackett talking to Anderson. Hackett: "If we can't convince them of their safety, it'll be the first contact war all over again." Anderson: "We need a symbol of hope. We need Shepard."
Image of Joker in the Normandy's cockpit. Hackett on the comm: "We're recalling you from the search. We need you here, immediately."
Image of the quarian migrant fleet under attack by geth. A quarian watching from the Normandy's bridge (possibly Tali): "They don't have the resources for this. They won't survive."
Images of the Normandy fighting off geth amongst the migrant fleet.
Fade to logo, Mass Effect 2.
Finally, fade to image of Udina talking to the Illusive Man, leader of Cerberus. Udina: "So, we have a deal?" Illusive Man: "Of course. We both want what's best for humanity, no matter the cost."
Haven't worked out music yet, but that's what I've got so far.
Brilliant. One thing I'd add, though, is Halfway through, you hear Sovereign go "You exist because we allow it." then, at the end "and you will end because we demand it." That line in the original gave me chills.

Can't go wrong with metal, something like Godsmack or Disturbed. I mean, look at Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. "Down with the Sickness" can be the Reaper's theme song!

Haha that sounds like a good idea. I just hope they don't screw it up. Good thing BioWare has a good pedigree.
Agreed. And considering I chose female Shepard, it was funny to see a small woman put a huge guy on his arse.
