My laptop is named VitalVampyr, I name all my devices that (and by "all my devices" I mean also my Zune).

If a device is to be named i just use my first name, but i don't give it a name as you would give your car a name, i think that's kinda silly. If i had to choose i'd go with 'The Beast'.

My PC is called Peach, which is what I named my temporary sailing boat when I was begging it not to capsize. Now I call my computer Peach when I'm begging it not to crash. My 360 is called "The 360" and my wii is called "Paperweight" at the moment.

then I looked down and saw that its air vent was mostly clogged with lint and dust

I used to love the semi-unique names the original Xbox came with. I think mine was Spanky when I tried to network it.

My black-cased desktop PC is called Black Sunshine.

The hostnames for my three computers are Arcturus (desktop/gaming), Canopus (web server/ftp/ssh) and Fomalhaut (laptop).

I don't actually call them that, but when I'm accessing them through my internal network, a name is nicer than a bunch of numbers.

PC's name is Captain Falcon. Since he crashes about as much as I do in F-Zero, and I Falcon Punch it and expect it to work.

Well my Desktop is affectionately dubbed the Franken-puter. I built it by combining the parts of several dead computers into one.
