So I've been wearing the hat and glasses from the agent in Megaton since about level 3. I've just got to level 25 and I've only just realised how much it makes your character look like Yahtzee.
On topic: Has anybody else raised the level cap because it's way too short?
Sennz0r: Now the question is: Did Bethesda do this on purpose?
You mean, did they purposely gave those glasses to Mr.Burke and made a Pre-War hat with Yahtzee in mind? No, no they didn't. You can make a Gordon Freeman as well and I'm pretty sure they didn't made that on purpose either. It's called, character customization. Thanks for your time.

Actually the fact that you just stated that you could also make a Gordon Freeman makes me believe they actually did put stuff like that in on purpose.
Even if it were so, I was actually just joking to get some reaction, although yours is not entirely what I expected. Albeit a reaction all the same, so: No, thank YOU for your time, sir :)

See children? This is called a delusion. Or as I like to call it
You have the pc version of Fallout 3? You lucky.. PC gamers get to fix all the glitches themselves AND raise the level cap? Booo.. I bet you can even find Walter. Any possible way to put in those kinds of commands on the 360 version?

He-he-he...
....Alright I'll stop that now.
Heh, yes now it sounds like I'm this bright-eyed little boy who believes a game puts his favourite characters this planet has ever known into it just for him. Oh, how powerful taking things out of context can be...

That said, can you make House in Fallout 3?
Depends on what you mean with "make". If you're asking for a the Sims like house creator than no, you can't. You can however get a house either from the sheriff in Megaton or Mr.Tenpenny in Tenpenny's tower, oh and after you get it you can customize it with different themes and even buy a jukebox for it which will play songs you've got stored in your PC.

Haha, I think he means the House character. (from the TV Show House.)

No misconceptions here, no sir.
Hmmm I don't know, his face is difficult to replicated with the textures Bethesda provided, maybe with a mod, but I doubt you can do it now.

You could give it a shot, the exact face would be more difficult and you'd have to permanently have a crippled right leg (which would mean no sleeping allowed in the game), you might need a modded suit as I believe most of them come with ties too.

Phoenix Arrow: Hey, you can get a trilby? Cool. What other hats are there?
There's a baseball hat and a few helmets, oh and you can get your hands on Lincolns top hat.
I will definately purchase a Trilby when I get around to buy the game then. I'll make my characters armour fit nicely around that one piece. I'm guessing you can change your hair and beard on a whim too? Sounds pretty cool just from the character customisation.

Oh, and you can't use a cane. :(
Damn, I wanted a cane...
You could walk around with a pool cue and pretend it was a cane.

There are a couple of barbers dotted around the place who can change your (facial) hair for free. One of which is located in the house you can get pretty early on, so that's fine. As far as I know there are a few stylish hats.
One is on Mr. Burke who you'll meet pretty early, he's evil so if you're playing "good" you can just kill him. Make sure to talk to the Sheriff first about Burke though, just a hint. Another one you'll find in Paradise Falls in Eulogy Jones' 'Pad', and yet another you get as a free reward from doing the survival guide quests for Moira in Megaton (or Underworld if you kablamo the city).

It'd be interesting to see a mod which added the cane. You'd be forced to only use one handed weapons and shoot with your left hand rather than your right. Kinda switch the perspective around somewhat. Doubt you'd see anything like that before the Construction Kit gets released by Bethesda though.
Spartan Bannana: How do you raise the level cap in the game? I'm max level and I don't gain experience anymore, how did you do that? :( sad face...
Mods. Head over to Fallout3Nexus (google it for the exact URL). There's a few mods which remove the level cap. I think there's a console command to do it too, but I haven't looked.

I tried pretending I was Gandalf once in Morrowind by getting a staff and trying to imagine me using it like a walking staff.
It didn't work.
I..I don't think I'm ready yet for another disappointment by you, Bethesda, *sniffle*

Haha. Well I'm not saying it was put in the game on purpose, and I'm also not saying that my character looks IDENTICAL to Yahtzee, but for a complete accident the resemblance is pretty amazing. Mind you I've only ever seen Yahtzee a small amount in his reviews and nowhere else.
Anyway, now I'm annoyed that I can't stop playing Fallout without feeling like a suck-up. Luckily I found some aviators from some Ghoul and I'm DEFINITELY gonna go find Lincoln's hat. Top-hat + Aviators = I can't even comprehend.
