I'm not one to go on about achievements but it's cool to see the stats of the entire community. It does say 0.3% beat all campaigns on expert (and survived) but I'm calling bullshit on that. Tons of people have beat them, just not in one sitting. Also I think that "Outbreak" one is a viral achievement, you pass it on in versus...which means 51% of the people have been attacked by zombies! Gah! They will kill us all!
copy pasted the stuff and put it here, but it's much more organized at the site
I could understand killing 5000 enemies, but more than 50k?! fuck them, the spartans in 300 killed less, and it should take a huge sum of time, And what is it with this random number? why not just 50,000?
Hey guys: Genocide achievement is parody of a Dead Rising achievement for killing 53,594 zombies, which was the population of the town you were in. So it's like, 'you killed 53,594? I killed 54,595!'
Very clever, Valve.
Edit: Ninja or something. But I explained it better.

I've only done each campaign once and I've killed over 2,000 zombies. 5,000 zombies wouldn't be a thing.
Lamb 2 Slaughter is a difficult one simply because very few verses players are that dumb.
On the other hand, pretty much all the achievments that involve a team effort (no-one gets barfed on, everyone sneaks past the which etc) are almost impossible to get unless you play with a group of people who know what they are doing.
Not saying I don't think this is a good thing - it is, it encourages you to play with friends (who you know are good). But it does mean people who are not seeing this are probably never going to get them.
As for the Red Myst achievement. People don't have that yet because the minigun is crap compared to running and gunning. However it is good anti-tank.
Oh and the "complete all campaigns on expert" achievement is comulative. You don't have to play through all of them in one sitting for it to count. I've yet to do any of them, as every time I sit down to do it with my friends I get called away mid way through.

The Spartans didn't have assault rifles and shotguns ;)
Funily enough despite what people may think playing as a tank is surpsingly hard. Plus the control timer (a timer that constantly goes down but is reset when you hit someone. Timer dies tank control moves to someone else) keeps people from fucking around too much.

And yeah, the tank is hard to use right - ok, its easy to dish out noticeable damage, but to truly wipe out a team is hard.
They are slow at first and need a run up to build speed, aren't very quick in a turn, and you have to charge at them before the timer runs out. And they aren't as tough as you think when on the survivor side.

So...anyone part of the "Lamb 2 Slaughter" club?
Nah about the expert campaigns: its not 'in one sitting' as far as I know - the 53,595 zombies one isn't, after all (Working my way up there slowly - getting close to 1/5th of that amount ;))
EDIT: Lambs to the Slaughter is tricky because virtually no-one leaves the safe room after going in ;) I got a survivor once whilst they were in the room, but they hadn't left, so it didn't count, heh.
I am surprised more people don't have Akimbo Assassin. I just loaded up Dead Air on easy and breezed through it. * a note to anyone attempting it. You can use grenades, but you can not use mini-guns.
Oh I didn't know tanks build up speed, I guess that's why I can never outrun those fuckers on expert.
Good to hear that the expert ones actually are cumulative, because most campaigns I've got to go through on expert are 3 hours. Don't know about Blood Harvest, but that's a tough one too.
ElArabDeMagnifico: Oh I didn't know tanks build up speed, I guess that's why I can never outrun those fuckers on expert.
Ahhh, they do, they do. Its a momentum thing. A good tatic might be to try and strife around them, but that won't work when the general-infected zombies are about.
Not Good: I'd like to see the man who killed 53,595 people and say "Good job, now what are you going to do?"
Speaking of the Dead Rising Achievement, has anyone ever achieved it?
I have. You just have to use a car in the tunnels at a certain point. If you want to actually enjoy the game then don't try and get the zombie genocide achievement in your first play of the game.
-and the zombies? They haven't even gotten "Lamb 2 Slaughter"
