About september or octoberish last year I played wow and I got addicted I lost a few friends and plyed 12 hour s straight on my off from work days. I was an addict...then i hit level 70 hit a brick wall sometime around august now im 3 months sober

I know im not the only person with an experiance like that and I want to hear your experiances to help me get over this deathknight making urges I have

i played for about 3 years then i just got bored with it and quit this summer

never was really an adict, id play for maby 2-3 hours a day

however i must admit the wotlk expansion may bring me back

Play it if you want to, its called self control. Sure, MMO's are sometimes hard to tear yourself away but you need too, and when its getting addictive, stop and ask if it is really THAT good. Ive been addicted time and time again to MMO's and even text RPG's. Anything with grind, and in retrospect they where never THAT good.

So yes, I have had many similar instances like that, but I'm basically immune to that epidemic of EPIC RAIDS!.

I spend the same amount of time playing World of Warcraft as I would spend gaming normally; I consider it, if anything, fortunate that I can play something very social as well as something that accumulates and gets better the more I play it.

Self control.

I play WoW, but not that much.
