I just checked out the new Call of Duty and was wondering if anyone knows of a good Vietnam FPS. Any advice would be helpful.

There was a Vietnam mod for the old Battlefield 1942 game. That's kind of old though.

With that in mind I'm sure there was a game called Vietcong out on Pc a couple of years ago.

Also Battlefield Vietnam. It's one of the weaker Battlefield games but it's still a lot of fun, it's also notable that the aircraft don't have that much power.
On PS2 there is Shellshock Nam 67. It's pretty much a dumb run'n'gun game in the jungle with swearing and drugs, but it's fun all the same.

Nam-1975 on the Neo Geo is probably my most favorite Vietnam game of all times!

There's Uwe Boll's TUNNEL RAT. I'm pretty sure that will be a good game.

Why would you have to lose?

Battlefield Vietnam is the only good Vietnam game in human history, and it looks like it's going to stay that way.

And Vietnam games are a very unique experience because they're the one game where I'm rooting for both sides and I feel bad for killing people of either side. The Vietnam War sucked.

Though now that I think about it I believe there was a Conflict: Vietnam game that was pretty good. I only played it for like an hour at a friend's house a few years ago but I don't recall it being bad.

There's a game called The Hell in Vietnam. I've never played it, but maybe check it out. Also, there's Vietcong 2.

But without doubt, if you're looking for a good Vietnam game, go for Battlefield Vietnam.
There is no better feeling than piloting a helicopter, raining boiling death down upon your enemies with Edwin Starr's "War" blasting in your ears.

Shellshock 2 is coming out on December 2 (sequal to Shellshock Nam '67) I don't know how it will be but it could be good, personally I'm pretty negative about most things that come out these days.
