F.E.A.R. 2 has been banned for sale and distribution in Australia by the OFLC due to "high-impact violence."[11] Warner Bros. Interactive spokesman said that company will appeal and that they are willing to look at "all avenues" to make sure that game is released in Australia." I just read that on the Wikipedia page. Micheal Aktinson - this man is in South Australia - NOT EVEN A F------ STATE - and is a politition who does not an R18+ rating, so Australia cannot have an R18+ rating until he gets on the bandwagon (As likely as Jack Thomsan Being Pro GTA) or someone else gets elected into his position Hoped that helped User was banned for: Poll: Round 4 - North: (1) Turbine vs (2) Valve. Now it's this, and with no justified reason, either. Oh well, at least I'm getting a free laptop next year (or so they say). |

THINKING!! They already have activated it, this means slightly slower internet for everyone and pedophiles and bomb makers have to go somewhere else for their material (perhaps adelide?) I am kidding about the adelide bit. User was banned for: Poll: Round 4 - North: (1) Turbine vs (2) Valve. (Permanent) |

Don't bet on it, Kenvin Rudd has bigger issues, if you live in NSW then you may get one but if you live anywhere else then probabley not (I live in WA :'( ) Kevin Rudd is putting the budget into deficet to stop Australia going into a recession (or every part of Australia that isn't WA because we have Iron Ore) that means that there won't be any money for your laptop Sorry for Double posting User was banned for: Poll: Round 4 - North: (1) Turbine vs (2) Valve. Labor Party Policy, which, thanks to the reallocating of the Senate, has allowed them to actually do anything. Anyway, it states that students from years 9-11 get a free laptop (it's looking like it's going to be a MacBook) for use at school in the ongoing technological advances. Hopefully, they will start to use fibre optic cabling too, so our internet will be decent too. But that's just me wishing. |

Damn it must re-enrol in year 11. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't we lay a huge fibre optic cable across some of the ocean but when it hits Australia we still have the same exchanges so only metro get some of the speed but still not all? |

Yeah. However, it doesn't change the fact that Australia's internet is crap, and will be extremely expensive to fix. I don't think we'll see awesome internet until the Credit Crunch dies down. |

That isn't double standards. It would be if other games used drugs that are from the real world, like Fallout 3 with morphine, but Bioshock uses faux drugs and I haven't played Farcry 2 but is it safe to assume the drugs you use to heal yourself aren't drugs that you would see a junkie using?
Oh well, better than nothing. That's also the same opinion I have about games being censored, think about it if it weren't for being censored the game would just be denied sale in Australia, which is worse? |

Bad parents form the majority of voters and they make any excuse to blame something else for their bad parenting, the politicians listen and laws are made. Democracy just doesn't work! |

Look, it all comes down to mothers and farthers every where to make sure their kids dont play these kind of games, and blaming a game after your kids kills himself or someone else doesnt change the fact that games dont kill. Bad parenting does.
