Well, maybe they were saying a little bit about it, but more about weird sci-fi cults in general than just scientology. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 1931 Joined: 9 Sep 2008 | As you're reading those text logs, explaining in detail the beliefs of the Unitologists, it's much funnier if you imagine a banner across the bottom of the screen with the message, "This is what Scientologists actually believe". Also, imagining Tom Cruise as a bloated, slavering beast that explodes, spewing out tiny versions of himself, isn't a difficult stretch of the imagination. |

Sadly:( He was a good actor until he turned into a nut case, now when I look at him, all I think about is him jumping on Oprah or him doing that freak laugh. |

That banner was probably what actualy made me laugh about the OT3 teachings thing I saw the rest was just wierd; kinda like a fox news banner ;). |

I completed dead space yesterday (bows) - I liked it.. it's my opinion.. you don't have to share it.
Throughout the game Unitology has been mentioned, and through a textlog i found somewhere in chapter 10 or something like it that, I saw some coincidences between unitology and scientology. Something about the founder being a writer and the fact that you had to pay the church to attain a more influential rank.
I think there are more shared characteristics between the two, but I can't think of anymore right now
Does anyone else see Unitology as a sort of parody on Scientology or am I completely of the mark?
