Its been on my mind, as I was wondering when the PC version would be out. |

I guess the game might have taken some visual cues from the movie, though. On a related note, I can't imagine what they're going to do in Crank 2 to outdo the scene where |

Crank still nailed the whole Hot Coffee sex scene though and Chev Chelios (the star of the film) tells his girlfriend that he is a Video Game Engineer, so there could be quite the relation. Crank 2 just seems to be the first Crank redone with more electricity. |

Yeah, there's plenty of video game references in the movie. |

So today I sat down and grabbed a movie I have had on my shelf for a rather long time.
The film, Crank is a rather fast paced film about the last day of a man who was poisoned by a rival in his sleep. Trailer here.
But as I was watching it, it dawned on me. This is GTA 4 done as a film. The lead character looks something like bellic and the way the shooting scenes are done, the city layout (or whats shown in the film) and the way the cars are driven all remind me a stupid amount of GTA 4.
If only Niko was english...
Yes I know the two are nothing to do with eachother, I was only observing.
Edit: Added extra: The guy kept getting phoned on his mobile at inopportune moments. Again a little like GTA4.
