Really? I can understand people not liking the game, (though I am definitely not one of them) but I can't imagine how it could ever be in the running for worst game ever. Even if it's not "your kind of game" it's the third one in the series, so I must believe you'd know what you're getting into. Worst game? NFL Quarterback Club for the Gameboy. I got suckered into thinking it was a full-fledged football game for my Gameboy based on ads I'd seen. Little did I know the full football game mode was only present in the SNES version. So what did I buy? A game with roughly 5 mini-games that all involved simple button-mashing and timed button-mashing. Plus, half of the games were unbelievably easy, and the other half were unbelievably hard. I would sit and stare at the menu screen scrolling up and down hoping that the option for actually playing an actual game of football would magically appear. It never did. |

*Head-Desk* That's OTHERWORLD your thinking off. Secondly that's not a game it's a Song and since the game it came from was Good, and the Song doesn't count I can only assume you have no idea what this topic was about. |

I loved that game, although when you got to the deathstick factory things became impossible. |

Like I said, worst I've ever played. There may exist worse games, I would not know, not having first-hand knowledge. By worst, I mean it absolutely failed at the experience it was trying to generate. The controls were complete shit, the dialogue actually caused me physical pain, the graphical layout was awful, the stealth concept was broken consistently and not just on the easy difficulty, and it didn't allow me to approach it the way I wanted.
That was the only game of the series I ever tried - I picked up a copy secondhand, because someone told me it was a stealth series up there with Hitman and Metal Gear Solid. 2 minutes later, I knew they were talking out their arse. Muckraker Posts: 330 Joined: 4 Sep 2008 | personally, one of my least favorite games in the last few years has been marvel nemesis. The graphics were decent I guess, but I will never understand why a game with such a wide and interesting variety of characters to choose from (the marvel universe) felt the need to invent cardboard cutout, generic knockoffs. I've been a big marvel fan for most of my life, but the sad truth is that most of their games aren't worth the time of day. |

I liked it, wasn't perfect, but I did feel like a minor grunt in a big war. for all it's faults it was fun. Also cheap. |

See I can't understand that. Being a huge fan of stealth games I've played them all. The gameplay is a lot more fluid and intuitive than anything the MGS series has churned out (albeit not as epic). Its not half as buggy as the Hitman games and not as limited in movement as MGS1-4. Each to their own I guess. |

And I think that that it provides a very relaxing a laid back environment that I can just putts around in. I find that fun sometimes. I play games for fun, and therefor sometimes I play Animal crossing. To avoid having a pointless argument over this I will not respond to additional comments on this. Good day. |

lol come now. the game is meant to be social, played with other actual humans. For instance, i got this game for my girlfriend in college. She somehow got it in her head that wrapped presents in game = actual presents in real life. and then i got presents. special presents. |

Beat Writer Posts: 133 Joined: 3 Mar 2008 | Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator 2. Let's get something straight: I LOVE flight simulators. I grew up on them. I acknowledge some are better than others, but you really have to cock it up to really make me hate it. This one was so dull, boring, and just plain buggy I took it back to Software Etc. the next day and traded it in for Crimson Skies, which provided me with more than half a decade of fun. There was also some racing game my friends and I rented for N64 about a zillion years ago, but I don't remember the title. I just remember it sucked so much we immediately went over to Goldeneye and returned it the next day. Other than that, I really haven't had many games that made me undergo a Yahtzee-esque bile explosion. Part of that may be that I'm extremely meticulous about researching a title I don't know about before buying it, plus I didn't have any consoles until an N64. But CFS2 and a couple others were the few exceptions. |

Everything, the gameplay was bad and the graphics were ugly (both things I could ignore in an RPG), The characters were uninteresting, except for one who if I wanted him in my party, sent me on an impossible quest and then killed my party because I couldn't complete it. Also the difficulty was ridiculously high forcing me to save after every fight in which I didn't die, I also got hit by in the short time I played, 1 Instant kill random encounter, 2 unwinable random encounters. |

That was my biggest annoyance with DOOM 3. In a world where futuristic weapons are readily available, they have somehow discontinued mounted flash lights. |

haha, and to think shaq still plays basketball. That game sounds cool - shaq going around beating things down. I've never played it. in my mind the worst game ever made was gears of war. it might be fun, or something, but it's ridiculously, disgustingly violent, unnecessary and just an almightily bad influence on children. I mean; ground breaking gore technology? I'd like to give those game developers a piece of my mind... I like games as much as the next escapist, but i think first person shooters are worse than Roman gladiator fights. Worse because children are exposed to and enjoy it daily. |

The Civil War game. I swear that game is the reason why I don't play my Xbox as much anymore.
