I feel compelled to withdraw this statement. I have recently tried out Left4dead at a friends house, and while riddled with any number of flaws, balancing issues and a being a bit too much of a shooter rather than about survival it is miles above most games released recently and especially the ones in the list. It's not perfect, but it's a very impressive effort, and really a quality game. I wouldn't say it had a secret ingredient though, but it IS a quality game. |
