It may be a remake of four. Who knows maybe they took time to dull down the graphics and put it on two DVDs and all that other good stuff. Either way snake himself won't be coming to the 360 even in flashback form so I suppose that whatever he is doing is going to be something more of an original project meaning its up in the air. That is IF they are doing anything 'real' at all and not just some remake, and IF they decide that they are going to make this new game a true metal gear game and not a shooter or some other nonsense, and IF Hideo himself decides hes in on it or not. | |
It's a possibility and Kojima did mention that MGS4 wasn't coming to the 360, he didn't say anything about future releases in the franchise. I'd take it with a grain of salt and wait for an official announcement. | |

Actually, if anything, the next ground will tread on Raiden as super-awesome mega-ninja. The best ground left to cover is Raidens slow descent into insanity, in which he leaves Rose, works for Big Mama, releases Sunny from The Patriots captivity, gets captured, and then gets experimented on, as they're kinda pissed at him for destroying the GW system. Then we follow him getting out and learning to be a Ninja....actually, I'm still not sure on the order of events, I can't tell if he was captured first, or trained by the Native Americans and the Ninjas first. Then, we get Metal Gear Solid 4 from Raidens perspective. Actually, they said there would be some major DLC six months after the games release, that might be it. | |

Well, given all the crossovers of late - Mario and Sonic; Solid Snake in Smash Bros.; Altair in MGS4 and Prince of Persia (and I just know I overlooked another well-known crossover) - it wouldn't surprise me that Solid somehow found his way into mythical ancient Greece as well. WHen I looked at the linked image I didn't think of them as letters just over simlified figures the 1st "i" was possiblly a crude stick figure followed by the trademark "!" explanation mark in all of the Metal Gear games an the last one wasn't power sign or at least a normal one it was a nearly complete circle with a "!" mark again instead of just a line going up and down I'm highly doubting that this would be how'd they'd want to start hinting that Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is going to the Xbox 360 ... at least under the specific heading at least. Still I think it unlikely. | |
