I've been to other forums where PS3 owners are saying that "That's never going to happen" or "It's probably just a PSP game" and I think their just in denial. I'm excited to have another blockbuster title on the 360, at least I'm getting my moneys worth.

If there was a metal gear on the 360, it would have a lot of discs, probably because I can't see a man like Kojima scaling down the number of cutscenes and the would reckon he'd try to make everything bigger and flashier. This would either result in a difference in the game between the two systems, or lots of discs for the 360, meaning something would be lost, or downgraded, or you'd need to free up some space in you're home.

That's what I wanted to say. While I believe this relates to Acid on the iPhone (or whatever), you can't really say 'That's not a 360 on switch, it's a PC on switch', since no other product relates itself to the on switch in any way.

Yes, but Microsoft didn't make the teaser. Calm down, I know you're in a frothy rage and everything, but I don't actually believe that any MGS game is coming to the Xbox 360, for a multitude of reasons. But suggesting that the symbol is an 'on' switch for another product is a lot more ridiculous than suggesting it's the Xbox 360's 'on' switch.

1. playing MGS4 on a friends house WILL INDEED make you not like it the same thing happend to my other friend (he thought it was shit i convinced him to buy and 2 weeks later he comes to me saying its AMAZING)

2. it's not because of the exclusive thing............ for MGS4 to go to 360 its the fact it will set off another chain reaction of console wars on foroums and nobody wants to go through that again ( i know i don't wanna shout in caps lock to other people on a foroum about consoles) .

I think less exclusives would make my hobby far easier as a gamer of limited financial resources.
I did hear that MGS4 was Kojimas last MGS so if there was another game in the series without his input I would buy it on any platform. Personaly I would love to see a next gen remake of the origional 8-bit game especialy in light of the new information from Snake Eater.

I can actually confirm this. I know three separate people who bought PS3 just to play MG4. None of them were happy about it (I think two sold back the systems already...), but they had to finish the series.

As someone just getting into the next-gen of consoles (getting my 360 come the holidays), I'm a big fan of the exclusivity clause. You can have your game on your console for 6 months to a year. After that, it's fair game for everyone. I don't see the problem there.

But that may be my deep need for MGS4 talking. I must play it. My life is incomplete until I do. :considers renting a PS3 for a week....:

Seriously though, at this point, it's pointless to argue about a very cryptic teaser. On a side note, the first thing I thought when I saw it was "Metal Gear Spanish?" due to the upside down exclamation mark, or i, or whataver it is.

I must say I find resistance 2 quite a mediocre game(excluding 64 online lagless matches which is awesome and I'm gonna get it soon only for that reason) but I find some elements that have been ripped off games..such as the half shield which looks like the halo bubble shield, the zombies which look like half-stogginized humans from quake 4 and the big enemies look like a bit like boomers from gears of war and I never liked the first one anyway I'm one of those scarce persons that like cod4 damage system
