Since i am not making any money of this would it be okay for me to use real music from bands like Queen, Opeth and the like?

I have something for Mariena (She shows up late for some reason)

She will walk into the hub room to "Killer Queen" by Queen

Does anyone else remember playing the first Rainbow Six? When one of the 'named' characters died, they got replaced by a no-faced 'operative' that was worse then everyone else (Though no completely useless).

You should add that in. Except give them names, but make a name generator!
It would work thusly:

Take any game name: Halo, CoD, GoW, WoW, Diablo, etc.
Then take one of the following words: Dude, guy, gal, homey, aardvark, desk, man, lagoon, or sniperzz
Then, finally, add a random number between 1 and 1000.

You'll get this:

HaloAardvark645 is now on your team!
EveDesk324 has died.
BulletproofLagoon23 has been riddled with bullets.

Plus, you can give them REALLY annoying voice overs to further punish the player for losing GOOD people.

Yeah, that'd be me dude. I've looked for it on google and can't find the song, that's why I was offering to upload it for you. I think someone has it on youTube, but that's the only place I can find it still.

Oh yes, that. I never played Rainbow Six: Raven Shield properly. I always wanted to be the awesome rainbow operative, supersneaky and superawesome. But sometimes, I couldn't do it alone, and some missions were just so frustratingly difficult... So! I picked a few random dudes, formed two teams, didnt bother with equipment and just set up the battleplan so both teams would cover ever zone twice (in case team A failed, team B could pick up where they left off.. in reverse). and anyone left would be easily taken care of.

Many 'good' characters would die, and replaced by some rookie operative. Needless to say, they also died. Not that I cared. >:)

That's gameplay... The end product will have new everything but the Gameplay will be nearly the same. a few new mechanics and such

Description: Mr. B. Cat likes to think he is neutral, but is really just very indescisive. He also has an obscene knowledge of Greek myths and legends.
Ranged weapon- Pistol of Indifference. It's a single shot pistol, you reload it after each shot.
Melee weapon- Sword of Ultimate Neutrality. It's the sword that Hades is carrying in my avatar. It slices things.
Special Attack: I have about three of these planned out, any one of which would be awesome. Either: The pipe bomb of Terrible uncertainty, which is just a pipe bomb that causes a massive explosion. The Wrath of The Gods Gun, which is a gun that fires 15 mini thermonuclear missiles at the enemy. Or, The Eagle Claw! Which is an attack where I rip someones heart out. (Cookie for the reference, Double cookies if you know why it's my special attack (Which is four people))
Obviously I would not expect to be a controlled character, but a appearance somewhere would be good. Maybe as a boss, turned evil by people's failure to take notice of me...

Also, have a hint system, or a tutorial, or something that helps the player which contains Anton P. Nym and Alex P. working in tandem. I feel they deserve a role, and the best one I could think of for them would be as teachers for the player.

Honestly, that's better than I would expect for a community game without a large team. What engine are you using? An open source one, one built from scratch, etc.? Also, I know I haven't been here long, but if I eventually get my self more established here, is there any possibility of being in an expansion pack? :)

This sounds freakin awesome. Very soon, this website will have a sub-area where all awesome Escapist themed things will go, like Iron Ninja's comics and all Escapist themed games.

Edit: With all the people asking to be on the game, would it not be easier fo all extra's to become either allied canon fodder all of whom will very quickly die (thus freeing up space for more Escapians to make cameos) or generic enemies with maybe one unique thing about them (like their avatar on their on their clothes, or something), who will also very quickly and easily be killed. I'm actually not asking to be put it, because I'm a shortened (license plate sized) name of a weapon that is already in games.

Engine built from scratch. I have just received an email and We are to do some heavy recoding in January. So I will need to start collecting some audio clips before then
