It's the zombie apocalypse, you and three of your best friends are hiding in an underground end-of-the-world bunker you built during Y2K. It's stocked with (insert gaming system here) along with all the games available for it right now.(If PC, all the games which can be bought for it plus all mods. Excluding things like emulators, online flash games etc. and your PC can only be used for gaming, a mysterious virus limits you from doing anything other than play games.) Online game play is enabled due to the gross amount of people who built underground shelters during Y2K. The zombie apocalypse is going to be around for at least 100 years until scientists in Germany have found a cure, so make sure you can play the game system forever.

I think nintendo wii because the controls mean different games as well as the standard ones, rather than playing the same stuff until it gets stale.

Actually screw that, PC. It's not a game system per se, but it is still a system that plays games, and given enough time it can emulate everything else.

So yes i know i haven't actually adhered to your post question properly, but I am sticking to what I said.

I guess the 360 if I'm sticking to the rules set by this post, but, otherwise I'd choose the N64.

I guess my Playstation 3? My Wii hardly gets play time, so it wouldn't make sense to play that forever now would it?

Though, if PC was an option, it would be my second choice because I probably wouldn't have thought to much about this question and then wanting to switch my answer to PC, though then again I play my PS3 the most so...

My PC...EVE online has no Endgame

I chose my Xbox and subsequent 360 based on its game library, so...

Like many others, my first choice was the PC. But left with those three options...well, I play my Wii the most, so there you have it.

PC. Everything else is eventually or already emulated on a sufficiently powerful PC. Plus you can use PC or console controls with one system.

Hmm, game system, didnt say consoles specifically.

So I'm gunna say none of those in the poll, and say PC, since I already sit in my room and play mine "forever" (according to my mother).

Anyone who doesn't choose PC is foolish. Even I, a console man, recognize that the consoles will eventually be obsolete. The PC however will have games released forever! Well, at least as long as I'm alive, barring the apocalypse or dystopia.

You know I hate people like you more than those who put no text. It was obviously a mistake, yet you feel the need to punish him for a harmless mistake, why?

I would have to go with the Xbox. Why? Because I can play games on a PC about as well as a drunk, blind baby. So out of the consoles I would pick the Xbox as I love games like Gears of War and Halo. Besides now that Tekken is coming to the 360 who needs a PS3? ;)

PC... I like my FPS games.

Am I trapped in a room and am being forced to constantly play video-games in a never-ending stream?
In this fictional world do I have friends who I can invite over for splitscreen multiplayer, or do I have to settle with the clucking chickens of online gaming?
If I pick a console from this generation, how far into the future can I project new games coming out for it?
Does my computer get continually updated with new hardware?

I could go on.

I added circumstances, have fun in your fictional world of death and apocalypse.

I already voted for the PS3 but if it could change it would be PC.

PC. So much choice and so many possibilities.

PC, because mods can extend the life of a single game indefinitely.
