Personally, I just hve one minor problem with that. For everything that Psychonauts did right (and theres a hell of a lot of it) it had some pretty meh gameplay and controls. While everything else about Brutal Legend will be awesome, I'm kinda worried that the actual gameplay will be lacking the lustre of all the other aspects.
We just have to hope that double fine have learned from their past mistakes. I guess we just have to wait and see.
Well, the gameplay trailer didn't exactly fill me with confidence.

(and heres what i think) Sonic and the black Knight (let sonic die please) Empire: total war (eventually their will be Gaza Strip:total war) The Sims 3 (well, there goes passing university) Batman: Arkham asylum (nothing to do with the movies, back to the camp joker, looks a bit like bioshock...) GTA: China town wars (rascist much? (actually i wanted a Tokyo GTA)) Wolfenstien (yeah, cause this series keeps getting better and wont just cash in on nostalgia AT ALL!) And my listed games are all good games. Amazingly, sometimes the two aren't mutually exclusive.
In no particular order... except for the final five.
15. Diablo 3 - too young to have remembered the Diablos before it, but it looks like some really intense gameplay, and online would be interesting. 14. Lord of the Rings Conquest - the Battlefront games are still incredible. 13. Champions Online - an MMO, with superheroes, on a console. I've waited for this for so long. 12. MadWorld - love the style, and the cinematic death sequences are awesome. 11. Batman Arkham Asylum - a standalone Batman game with no movie tie-ins? Yes please. 10. Halo 3: Recon - trailer was fantastic, and Bungie usually manages to sneak some fun into their games. 9. Massive Action Game - wait, how many people online? 8. Ratchet and Clank Future 2 - loved the first, still haven't gotten the downloadable one yet though. 7. inFAMOUS - very cool concept, cant wait to see how it pans out. 6. Ghostbusters: The Video Game - gameplay looks really interesting, plus it's Ghostbusters.
Okay, now there is a particular order. 5. Brutal Legend - after Psychonauts, I trust Tim Schafer with my life, let alone another game. 4. Mass Effect 2 - haven't heard much on it, but adored the first. 3. Prototype - this one has potential to be my GotY, so long as it's mind-blowingly fun. 2. God of War 3 - the last one's ending left me in a state of sheer awe for a solid 4 hours. 1. Paws and Claws Pet Resort - that's a lie. ACTUAL #1. Resident Evil 5 - RE4 is one of my all-time faves.
1. Fire Emblem: Shadow Dragon (Ok if it is Fire Emblem, I will get it.) 2. White Knight Chronicles (Looks like a pretty good RPG.) 3. BioShock 2 (Oh please come out in '09.) 4. Kingdom Hearts 385/2 Days (Besides the weird title it looks like it will be a standard KH game.) 5. Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep (Same as 385/2 but without a weird title and 10 years earlier.) 6. Final Fantasy XIII (Ok I like final fantasy, just not X or X-2. I am getting Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete just for the playable FF XIII demo in it. Maybe I might get to watching the movie sometime XP) 7. The Sims 3 (Liked The Sims 2, I'm pretty sure it will follow the same overall gameplay as it.) 8. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (CoD 4 was so good nothing will stop me from getting this.) 9. Dragon Ball Online (A Dragon Ball....M...M...O.. this will be interesting if they pull this off.) 10. Halo 3: ODST (A Halo game that is not about Master Chief and isn't Halo Wars? Sold.) 11. Diablo 3 (Ok this game looks AWESOME! And Blizzard is awesome enough to release it on the Mac, Thanks!) 12. The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf (I dont have a PC so I couldn't play the original, but this console version is said to be similar.) 13. Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection (It's actually another Sega Genesis Collection but with more games, and more sonic, yes.) 14. F.E.A.R. 2: Project Orgins (I likey mah FPS's) 15. Battlefield Heroes (Kinda reminds me of TF2, in third person.)

I havn't found the step up in amount of players to be worth it in any game so far BUT it is from zipper, of SOCOM fame, and i freaking loved that series, even if i only got to cookie towards the end :-(. A wholelly different cookie is someone here knows what im on about.
Indigo_Dingo: 9. Ratchet and Clank Future 2 Word is they now have a gun that shoots train tunnels - one shot for the starting point, the other for where it goes to. Like a cross between Portal and a Wile E. Coyote cartoon.
Hadnt heard about any of that yet, what a bad fan ive been, well YAY for the return to insane weapons in the R&C series - everything since 3 has been a bit lacklustre in comparison.
Anyway 15 is a bit much so i wont make a list yet, and im not sure of release dates but the new SOCOM and Fat princess sound awesome, as does FFXIII and its underlings.. err... Ok thats about it unless ICO and Dues ex come out (soon to be) this year, in which case god damn get back into development, you need another decade.

Afro Samurai-I love the style, the music...hell, theres not much I don't like about this game. But I don't know that much about it, so we'll see...
I Am Alive-I know sod all about this, but its certainly looks interesting. I like the whole survivors feel to it (man, that show is awesome)
Bioshock 2-Its bioshock. Ofcoarse I'm fucking excited. If it is this next year that is.

The only new releases i'm compeletely aware of this year are Edge of Twilight and Prototype. i only tend to worry about games when they've actually been released, then i don't have to get all huffy about how long it's taking for a game to come out.
