T'ai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger and Strider 2, both rare PSone games.

I got T'ai Fu when it came out for a fiver. And this was back when the PSOne was popular... It was such a great game but some parts were so difficult it was a joke. Am I right in thinking you got the demo for this? The end has a challenge where you have to kill 20 leopards or something?

I haven't even played the demo, but that challenge sounds like it could be a lot of fun. I hear it's a good game and I absolutely love the character designs and overall aesthetic. It's one of those games that have been stalking me throughout my gaming life, I've seen it everywhere, but whenever I see it I don't have the money to purchase it. eBay isn't helping much either, just NTSC copies are out there.

Otogi 1 and 2.

I know it's a recent game, but I probably won't be able to get Persona 4 for a few months. Considering it'd have been the first Persona game I would have ever played, I'm surprised to find I can't stop thinking about playing it.

Fallout 3. Its an 18 and the only thing my parents have ever agreed on is that I'm not allowed 18-rated games. I played it once at a friends house and its brilliant! Damn you 18-rating!!!

I guess it would be nice to play Littlebig planet and MGS4 once.
On a not really relevant note I wish I could play Paper Mario just one more time.

Bioshock. It just didn't seem to be my type of game when it first came out, and I doubt I'll ever get around to playing it.

If you own a Wii, you can pick up Paper Mario off the Virtual Console. My wife finally got the chance to finish the game this year (we sold our cartridge years ago when money got really tight).

I think I would have to go with Earthbound; I did not own a Super NES until well into the twenty-first century.

I'm waiting for Dead Space to come down in price - hoping to nab the PC version for $30. Yahtzee panned it, but the reviews are good, and I like the gameplay videos I've seen of it. It looks like a pretty incredible cinematic experience.

That's this week. Who knows what I'll be excited about next week? :)

Phyconaughts plaughs my mind like a illness. When ever I think of some of my faviourite games, I always want to say Phyconaughts, yet all I've played it the demo! Dam it, I need to buy that game.

You can buy it from Steam for cheap or, get it from Gametap for free. Go now and buy, buy like the wind.

Earthbound. I have heard good things but I never have been able to get the game.

I really want to play Fary Cry 2. Unfortunately, it's too expensive at the moment... I'll have to wait for it to come down in price, like how I got Far Cry (though, to be honest, I hated Far Cry).

First thing that popped into my mind was Neverwinter Nights. I can't for the life of me find a copy anywhere.

I just love the idea of being able to create all that content so easily. [/drool]

I've always wanted to try the whole metal gear series (starting with the first one on the MSX2).
ICO has always plagued me.
The PoP: SoT series looked good.
Crisis Core looked interesting.
But mostly, The Longest Journey.

The Persona games are niggling away at my brainpan. I've yet to see a copy anywhere, though.

As mentioned in another thread, I've always wanted to play Pac-Man Vs. and thought about getting one of Gamestop's cheap Gamecubes for the job, but now that I have a Wii, I'll be playing on that.

The other title that intrigues me is Steel Battalion.

They haven't gone bust, to my knowledge. They just gave up on games after Strangers Wrath. They felt, quite rightly, that EA didn't support the game with advertising and the like and have gone into other media. I think they made a Coke ad.

Since this post I have. Awesome game. I'll never look at bacon the same way again.

I had this game on my computer a long time ago called Sanitarium - adventure game, can't find it anywhere - and I just want to play it so badly. Same with Grim Fandango, I can't find the damn thing anywhere but online and even then it's not new so I'm not sure if it'll be reliable.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sanitarium-Game/dp/B00001X5CG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=videogames&qid=1230570035&sr=1-1

Make sure you buy the 1998 updated version that makes it compatible with XP.

Yes that is indeed one hell of a game. So very, very underrated.

As for Grim Fandango, it's temperamental on XP. It does usually work though.

For me, it's all the shmups for the Dreamcast I didn't get to play. Especially Giga Wing 2. i loved the first one.

Then there's Virtual On for the DC. I've got a new and sealed copy but I don't have no Dreamcast now.

Most Japanese RPGs I think about. I'll never play them because I'm fed up of levelling characters again and again for each one.

I never played Shadow of the Colossus or Okami because I never owned a PS2. I've always wanted to play Beyond Good and Evil, but after I got it, I lost all my progress to a glitch. I haven't had the time to go back and replay it.

Tombi for the Ps1. *sigh* it was such a fun demo but now i'd have to fork out 50 quid for a copy on ebay.

Tomba, you mean, and I adored it. One of the handful of PS1 games that would not play on a PS2, which is why I no longer have a copy of it. (One must make difficult choices when one moves several states away.)

As for me, hmmm...Harmful Park or Vib Ribbon, I think.

For me its Shenmue because I never owned any Sega consoles.

Until recently, my game to think of but not own was BLACK (PS2). I now own it and my anticipation was wasted. Generic Shooter.
Smashing back to Ebay from whence it came.

It's not on VC, sadly. Only Ocarina.

**EDIT**

Also, Majora's Mask. Please come to the VC. Please.
