And you can actually, finally, in a videogame, kick puppies. |

Kurushi - puzzle. Simple and brilliant and has atmosphere unlike many puzzle games.
Definitly this, Vib Ribbon - Puzzle, the game's as big as your CD collection. Chuck on Sugar Hill Gang's Rapper's Delight. See how far you get. |

If you like worms, try to get Hogs of war, it did worms-typegaming in 3D before (don't know if it was the first to do so). It ha some pretty funne comments (you know when you fire your weapon), it's pretty charming, and the campaign is actually pretty hard (try beating it without dying), the last level is pretty insane.īLocal multiplayer is pretty deasent as well. |

I never actually managed to complete the last level in HoW, but it is an awesome game. |

Infamous Scribbler Posts: 533 Joined: 6 Nov 2008 | Toy Story 2, traditionally movie games suck balls, but I actually enjoyed this one. You play Buzz, except your laser works. I seem to recall theaim of the game being the collection of pizza planet tokens, which were found by completeling challenges (beat the RC car in a race), collecting things (coins for the piggy bank, sheep for bo peep, bodyparts for mr potato head), beating bosses (a kite at the top of the tree in the back yard) and stuff like that. I probably liked it so much because I love non linear games, and TS2 let you roam the areas to your hearts content and return to complete objectives that you missed the first time round. Heck even the bosses took a bit of effort to find, as I said, the kite boss was at the very top of the tallest tree in the back yard, and to be honest, I'm not sure I ever managed to get to him (I sucked at games... still do). So yeah, if you can find it, Toy Story 2, good fun. |

The first is a more survival horror whereas the second is a more lots of ammo, run and gun affair (Think RE1-3 compared to RE4). Parasite Eve 1 + 2. This first is a more narative mindf*** with RPG stat building elements (read the book if you can get it, it's pretty good) whereas the second is a more survival horror, but with powers game. |

That is, if I remembered anything major from those games. Oh, and Rayman. The original 2D one. That game ticked me off so much as a kid... I don't think I managed to get to the last level on skill; fate just shined upon me for once. |

Bushido Blade was awesome! One of my favourite PS games. I loved the 100 level fight mode, or whatever it was. That was hard. Or at least, so i remember. It's actually up there as one of my favourite fighting games of all time. |

Wipeout all though no real story line is just the best highspeed futuristic racer ever created (thats right, not FZero), with a soundtrack of awesome. Gran Turismo 2 although looking like a conventional race simulator feels more like an rpg in career mode in the sense you have to win races to get money to buy new cars and fully customize them, plus to get the better races you have to pass certain driver licenses, which get really challenging on the higher licenses. Although it seems obvious Tomb Raider 1&2 are still very good games. Also going to agree with the guy who said to get Colony Wars. |

The second one is much better. Go with # 2. Also might look into giving Grandia a shot, it's pretty entertaining from what I remember. |
Muckraker Posts: 280 Joined: 7 Feb 2008 | No one's mentioned Suikoden II? Seriously? That, and Front Mission 3 are the two games that sucked me in for the longest time. As for why? 108 characters in Suikoden 2, nice army-style battles/tactics, and just a great game overall. Front Mission 3 isn't as good as 1, but it's still REALLY good (+ there are two completely separate stories to discover). |

Damnit, I was going to say those.
But you should also try Crash Bandicoot 1-3.
