Soulja Boy: The Game. Jokes aside, I think MediEvil has a pleasant sound to it.
Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People. I think that needs no explanation.
The Rain Slick Precipice of Darkness
Bioshock, for some reason it's just cool to say. Concise, easy to remember, original, and yet it still reflects the gameplay and philosophy in the game while feeling like its connected to System Shock 2.
Ah yes, I have a few that I think sound like the devs had some hidden message behind it, or just sounded like a morbid pun: Gears of War: Yes it's a dumb game, but the title really makes a lot of sense if you think about it. The Gears are soldiers in the COG army, and for the machine of war to keep running, you need gears. Hence... Mirror's Edge: This title had potential for quite a little internet debate about why the game is actually called Mirror's Edge, unfortunately they gave it away in the first cutscene to please the retards of the gaming community. Still, nicely found. Dead Space: I mean come on, this one is obvious, right? No communication for one, dead things in space for another... Thief: Deadly Shadows: I'd be afraid of those shadows.
Anything with Shadow in the title.
you think ESS TEE A EL KAY EE AR: Shadow of Chernobyl is a good game title?
Yeah, go on. | |
Star Ocean: Till the End of Time
... Well, I don't. Guess that's it.
Shadow the Hedgehog? | |
i agree, mirror's edge is a pretty mysterious title. but honestly, 'final fantasy' always sounded so cool to me. im not a super fan of the series but the title sounds so ominous
Smash TV | |
I | |
Monopoly, its just cool Hurray for anti-trust laws
Bagel Pounce: Spread of the Cream Cheese
That's because it was going to be their last game before going under. Then it made money.
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix.
Mirror's Edge (sounds slick, cool and kinda dangerous since you're standing on the edge) and Sins of a Solar Empire (very Sci Fi-ish, I love it).
true that, but it sounds so apocalyptic and urgent you have to admit. like, impending doom (im coming off like a fanboy arent i...) anyways like i said im not a fan but i like the title
Cheese-Itz Go Wild: Protect your box
LemonFlapper: When Lemons Run The Streets
Well if you still buy into the impending doom thing after the tirteenth time... Impending doom got delayed a bit didn't it? Nothing personal just felt a need to say it :)
Attack of the killer tomatoes
OK. My theory falls flat on it's arse right there.
I agree with you so much.
Turtle Beach: All Your Ears Are Belong To Us
Not the strangest but 'Okami' that game was never going to sell. Weirdest new release title I suppose will be 'Afro Samurai' (bit hard to take it seriously)
thats the point. | |
I like the name 'Okami', and the game looked great, but I don't have a playstation.
Big Beaver's Bountiful Brigade <---- Amazing along with all my others
Half-life - I mean! Come'on! Why didn't I come up with that?! I sounds awesome and yet kinda scary, fits to that "Your all alone on a secret reseach facility and theres monsters everywhere, what a the chances you suvive?" theme ;D Mirror's Edge - It have a mystical sound to it and makes you wonder what it means... or is.
Otix's Ocelot Omits Alchemy
I have reason to believe all these supposed game titles you're giving us aren't excactly real. So could you please stop spamming the thread with garbage?
| (Pages: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) | |
We've got ourselves a bandwagon people!
As a response to the 'worst game title ever' thread I would like to know what you thought was one of the best titles for a game you have ever heard. If you can, please elaborate.
Mine would be... damn can't think of any at the moment, but I will!
EDIT: Got some, posted them a few posts down :)
EDIT 2: And make them real titles, please.
EDIT 3: Of existing games, for all the nitpicky people out there (never thought this forum would need it but people are actually prepared to be that immature).
