Super Castlevania IV for the SNES. I could only do the first couple of levels because the rest scared the crap out of me, but hey, I was like 5 at the time.

Sonic The Hedgehog for Sega Dreamcast.
Still a great game for its time.
Always got scared about this one part where the water won't stop rising and it constantly reminds you that your about to be screwed.

It was some super-obscure generic PC golf game. I was 4, I think.

First REAL game I played though (I REALLY don't think that GOLF in 16-color glory should count) was Super Mario Bros for the NES.

The very first game I ever played in my life was Crash Bandicoot. On the PSX when it was brand new, in kindergarten.

I think Green Beret on the Commodore 64. Called Rush 'n' Attack in other places I think.

Super Mario Bros. on NES, I was 4 or so. I wouldn't play it because my brothers said "not to touch the bad guys or you'll die."
Well not wanting to die I refused to play the game for a couple weeks until I figured out the character not the player died.

I was a prodigy.

Impossible Mission 2 on the C64. Ahh, that console and the Amiga gave me so many happy memories of my childhood.

My first game was either Duck Hunter for the NES, or Gauntlet in the arcades, or Pong on the computer, can't completly recall.

I never got to play any of the old ones because my sisiter took them away, but the first thing that I can remember playing is either monkey island or sven co-op, which still has my ears ringing with the sound of dual uzi's!

cant remember the name of it, though it was a motocross game for the Commodore 64 back when i was 4, kinda like Excitebike but with only 1 level of depth and you had to press a button to jump.

Supaplex! It's still free, too, which made it that much more awesome to revisit. For the 286 or higher (you can't say those aren't systems, you couldn't change anything about their setups as it was). Fine, MS-Dos.

I think, Duke Nukem 3D.
When I was about 3.
I don't think my mum was very happy about it, to be honest, but my dad found it hilarious. Nowadays he lectures me about how shooting zombies in Left 4 Dead induces a physiological stress response which makes me more aggressive.

I love irony. Normally.
