Pyramid Head. /thread | |
I love that thing. It's like a pet, which tries to kill you. But a pet nonetheless.
This would be it: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4695355430392252162
The Mother from Sanitarium. Or the Giant Raisin from Munch. I'm sure I've seen worse before but that's all I can think of.
I only have one word. Klonoa
Centaur. Fallout 3. Freaky as fook!
I always found Sin from FFX to be an odd type creature. Just what is it ? A whale, with Psuedopods, forelimbs and big chunky thighs? weird..
God the first time I saw that I could only see it's back and the name 'Centaur' above it's health bar. Then it turned round. Jeezy Creezy.
You know, I've just been struck by a thought. The monster from Cloverfield is Sin.
yup i had that same revelation :)
Hmm. Dunno. | |
New Age Retro Hippie from Earthbound. I still don't want to know how he can paralyze me by brushing his teeth.
Pfft, nothing compared to the weird uncut monsters or the Bloodsucker or Controller with mods. Hordes of zombies and a controller leading them. That is when you really feel the heat.
Orphen Boss in Lineage 2. In the old chronicles it wandered to different islands and anyone standing in it's path gets annihilated, AND IT WAS BLOODY MASSIVE!
Resident Evil 4's Salazar. Hes pretty creepy when hes just a human being, but then he goes and turns into some plant monster thingy. Pretty Weird.
The critic from Psychonauts.
Giygas from EarthBound. Pretty much everything else fails to hold a candle to him.
The Death House in FF7. Seriosuly... a house comes out to get ya!
2 words: Bongo Bongo | |
Killer 7, that game is filled with tons of weird monsters.
Alienhominid the mud monster.
the storm troopers from my lego starwars
i'd go with centaur (Fallout 3) or squiqs from WAR
Matt Greoning*. *Can't spell. He really is a boss in the simpsons game, you can't unsee that.
Uwe Boll. He is weird in all sorts of ways.
Is it just me or does the Centaur look a bit like U3 from Resident Evil 4?
Hmm, the first thing that came to my mind was the Globe Holder from Ecco: Tides of Time on MegaDrive. It's a big globe tethered to the wall that you have to defeat using inertia, while being careful not to get squished by it. That was one of my favourite moments of the 16 bit era.
It's not just you. I think that's where they got the inspiration from. I got the collector's edition, and the artwork in the book is quite similar.
My vote goes to the boss of dead space.
The semi-boss in Jabu Jabu's Belly in Ocarina of Time.
The tonberries | |
...And let's not forget the funniest enemies of all: the Cactuar.
The mutated Grumack from GoW 2.
Motherbrain.
Just so you know, Centaurs were already present in Fallout 2.

For me it is the Pseduogiant from S.T.A.L.K.E.R SoC (look it up IF YOU DARE)
That shit's intense dog.
