It was fun to watch him bounce around from target to target like a pinball when I picked a different target for each attack. |

have you ever played a high level summon necro as in lv 90+? because with a high level necro like that it's better to have only invested in fire golem, golem mastery, poison dagger, and anything that adds to poison dagger. with that combo you do ludicrous poison damage and you get a tank, if you combine that with a rough encampment bodyguard you can do diablo runs on nightmare by yourself with bad equipment. My favorite charecter however had to be the highly underrated fire sorc, I had one at about lv 68 and loved it, then I went back to playing warcraft3 and sadly at this point the character is gone. if you invest in fireball and meteor and anything that adds to them and you can do 1.5k-2.5k with fireball at lv 22(I had some good set items) and 2.5k-4k with meteor at about lv 13. the only drawbacks are the complete inability to PvP, I tried and the best I could do was get the other guy to run around in circle, and a heavy reliance on other party members on hell. |

You could always Shift + Click to lead your shots :p I never really liked that Synergy patch, as it restricted character customization. If you made a Fireball Sorceress, you had to level up fireball and (I think) the otherwise useless firebolt. |

you were supposed to but it really does have a use,you set fireball to left click and meteor to right if you have warmth at 22 like I did you never need potions and then with moves like firebolt and inferno you get passive bonuses to the moves, the only other move I invested in was teleport and its prerequisites. If your interested I had full sig and something else that I'd have to look up, I haven't played in a while. Oh and like I said it was impossible to duel, nothing work I spent a few minutes shooting fireballs and meteors at the guy and all he did was run because I would have killed him in 1-2 hits, I don't know for sure because I never hit him bu I doubt many people, even if he was a barb meant for tanking, who could survive many 1.5k-2.5k hits. |

Gone Gonzo Posts: 2615 Joined: 27 Aug 2008 | I got a Paladin to level 70 odd with base of lvl 20 Sacrifice, Fanaticism and Holy Shield. I had on 40% worth of life steal equip (on Hell mode this bounces down to 10%, ouch, but still higher than the 8% drain). I could do thousands of damage points with a one handed weapon that moved like a blur. Also helped I only had to have a pool of 35 mana to cast the one thing with a mana cost (Holy Shield). Only problem was a a fair amount of deaths (not really a very smart build) but the pools of blood were hilarious. Fanaticism: Sacrifice: So my total stacked damage bonus was around +940%. Which was quite amusing really when combined with almost +300% to Attack Rating. I was one-shotting badass monsters on hell mode! |

Yeah, I do remember using a six socketed war hammer variant most of the time! Then of course you'd swap to the two handed maul thing to take out a unique in one hit! |

Second deadliest of all (safe for javazon), but took skill to use right. Third one is a Concentrator I am playing sporadically now, and for the fourth I had to try the Hammerdin. Rules everything, and nothing can kill it. Ridiculous. He is lvl 89 now. Nothing poses a challenge anymore with the Hammerdin. |

My favorite set ups were a barbarian with full immortal king and maxed whirlwind and the skills affiliated with it. When all was said and done and I got to be around level 94 then I had like level 38 whirlwind and it did like 50K damage.
Other fav would have to go to a maxed Hammerdin Paladin.. Ohhh hammers are so sweet when you do them right =)
