(Keflings) Thought of that until i realised i had to buy using microsoft points which I don't have at the moment. Still it looks pretty good. (Sim City) Wanted to try that as i recently saw it for $30 AU |

I know a lot of people ended up hating it after a while, but I think that had to do with hype and expectations being let down, and not just enjoying the game as it was. I personally had not heard of the game until I saw it on a demo machine at CompUSA, so I had no expectations to have let down. I never beat it because that 3rd level is so damn hard. |

I'm glad I was able to come up with something for you. Simulation games usually are not my forte. At the time the game came out, it was pretty shocking. You could pick things up and throw them! WOW! Now, every other DS game allows us to do that, so it's not quite as magical. I also like how they throw the whole virtual pet thing in there, as that gives you a ton of stuff to do, so your creature acts as an automated "you." It ends up being really hard to be good some times in that game. I remember once where the enemy town is just out of my influence, and the easiest way to get them to start believing in me was by throwing fireballs at them. |

Hello fellow Escapists. The purpose of this thread is to ask what you guys/girls believe are some good simulator games. By this I mean the sort of things like 'The Sims' and 'Animal Crossing' not 'Flight Simulator X'. So anyway, back to the point, I feel like I need a new simulator game (that being my favorite genre of video game at the moment). I have Sims/Sims 2 on PC and Animal Crossing on DS but really ends my basic collection. Platforms that I can use are DS, Playstation 1/2, Xbox 360/Xbox but not PC until I get mine repaired so it can play games without crashing. PC games are still an option but I can't use them yet.
So can you recommend any good titles?
Thanks!
-Daniel
