Later, I actually got to developing a serious disliking for him. I would pretend-smack him with whatever gun I had at any given chance. |

It was his brother in Gears 2 (one of 4 originally). My prediction for Gears 3: You meet the third Carmine early in the game, he dies somehow, then the game becomes "Saving Private Carmine," (but you fail and the fourth one dies too). |

Also, Carmine isn't their name (Either a last name or a rank or something). Anthony Carmine was on Gears 1 and Ben Carmine was on Gears 2. |

Though, it does defy logic why the dudes with helmets are the stormtroopers that die within seconds. Wouldn't fighting with a helmet INCREASE your chances of living, as opposed to the main characters, who neglect their headgear? |

Beat Writer  Posts: 192 Joined: 24 Jul 2008    | I should point out that the new carmine in Gears 2 says that he 'is one of four brothers, well, three now' He's obviously the brother of Carmine from Gears 1 (I can see people sending me 'no shit Sherlock' messages but bear with me). Since we've had a Carmine in both Gears so far, do you get the idea that we're going to get four Gears of war games and that they'll stop when they run out of Carmines? EDIT: I haven't seen the ending of Gears 2, as I haven't completed it yet, so please don't tell me about how it ends and if Fenix dies or something. |

When i was playing through the Gears of war 2 campaign, i was introduced to Carmine, my favorite character, because i found him the most entertaining and sympathetic character in the story, only to be devastated by his death in the giant worm. What are your thoughts on this?
