Do you think the Escapist should upload ZP videos to iTunes and other mp3 downloading programs to be downloaded to mp3 players?

I sense a lock incoming...
If Yahtzee wanted his videos to be easily downloadable, he would have made it so.
There was a ZP podcast, but the guys at the Escapist shut it down (or so I'm led to believe- don't quote me on that :D).
If you want to download the ZP vids, you can with RealPlayer, and flv recorder.
(When you mouse over the video, a tab that says "Download This Video" will pop up. Click on it to do so.)
Then convert the flash video file to mp4 and open it on iTunes so that you can put it on your iPod.
Some good converters are Handbrake and Videora, the former being able to work on a Mac (I'm not sure about Videora)...

This isn't illegal, but the guys at the Escapist don't encourage it.

If this were possible, nobody would ever need to visit The Escapist to watch ZP. They could just DL the episodes every week or two, and Escapist would lose a large hit rate.

I could care less about the convenience of the people providing this free service. I demand more in return for the nothing I contribute now (aside from the arguable income I provide by viewing an ad).

In all seriousness I would certainly utalize the service if it were offered, but I will neither hold my breath nor beg for it. If I can't find 5 minutes a week to watch a review with a computer, I've probably been declared dead or something.

I got a new iPod last week and I looked on iTunes for ZP reviews. That would be awesome if we could download them.

Fuck, that'd be brilliant. Hell, I say put all the escapist shows on a podcast. I'd love to be able to watch unskippable on the go. I did manage to convert all Yahtzee related youtube videos to my ipod, but that's all I managed to get away with and it seems even those videos wont take to my ipod itself for some asinine reason.

I meant the leaking, but from studying about sex slavery, I kinda want to burn anything involving forced prostitution.

That would be awesome if you could get all the Escapists videos as Podcasts.

I have no idea why people would say no, that's beyond.. yeah. It'd be nice to have it on my Walkman, and I think the way his videos are done they'd look great on there. Screw all this shit about the Escapist traffic going down, I mean... if Yahtzee is the only thing keeping them going then it's not exactly all that amazing.

(And I say this to make you think, obviously I love and read everything on the Escapist, I'm just saying...)
