The princes platforming moves are epic, from crawling along ceilings like a monkey, to the classic wall run, he so fluid and smooth and dam fucking awesome! And the view! Whenever I had to sit though another cut-scene where they spouted some bad jokes and told us some plainly obvious plot points I'd stop, take a deep breath, and just pan that scene baby. Also, Spore's Creature Creator was so, so awesome! I'll never touch the main game again, but I still have the CC on my computer. Whenever your listening to your favorite podcast it's just so relaxing to sit back fuck with nature. |

The newest WoW expansion is another step towards getting rid of the grind... I was quite happy with the Death Knight class and the way it lets me skip those first 57 levels. I have not played a single game I didn't like in 2008. That is about as positive as one can get. |

The joy of zombie genocide is matched only by the sadistic delight I experience every time I pounce someone as a hunter or drag a survivor off a roof as a smoker. And when the game lets me be the tank, the sheer fun of punching survivors 200 feet through the air never seems to get old. Other surprises for me: Battlefield Bad Company. It was the first Battlefield I enjoyed playing, and even that ugly little EA splash screen didn't keep me from having fun. Along with that comes EA's Dead Space. It's not really scary and It's not really all that original but it certainly was quite a bit of fun. |

But since this is a video game discussion forum: I'm under the impression that Dawn of War II wont suck ass, made proof by the way it speeds down the road and into an ice cream truck because it takes after Company of Heroes, my favorite RTS. Needless to say, I hate my car, and love ice cream. To appraise any other game would make me bored. I'll close with this: I have the feeling that we wont all die in 3 years. |

Positive thinking: I am ever hopeful that the Watchmen game is even half as great as the comic. Positive thinking: Some decent hardcore games will come oput on the Wii this year |

As far as I'm concerned all that stuff is a rip-off of donkey konga, and donkey kong jungle beat is just plain awsome. It make me feel like I have rhythm even though I know I don't. |

How exactly was the combat terrible? And yes, the visuals pretty much squelched everything else. |

Be careful. I have a feeling that some folks that like hardcore sex won't like you for that. |

He's probably referring to the rather deliberate button presses and general un-smoothness of combat. It is a good bit of fun and a lot of eye candy, but it's annoying to get anywhere in a combo and have your attack parried. |

I guess it wasn't "terrible" per se, but I found it to be frustrating and sticky. But enough about that, this is a positive thread, not a thread about negative things. User was banned for: The artist in thee. (Permanent) |

The important part is that it worked.
All that stuff being just Guitar Hero, or all rhythm games in general? 'Cause I'd hate to burst your bubble by telling you that there were rhythm games before that. |
