PS3. I like the PC better, but it has more problems. My PS3 is reliable.

That is a tough call. Wii.

PS2 as a huge library of good games, so it gets my choise.

I am not going to answer though because this is a flame bait "what's the best console" thread in disguise. versus threads, especially this one, are not generally permitted. I don't know if it's a clever enough variant on the topic to warrant exclusion from that rule.

WTF!? I would have to say PS3 due to games, looks, features and epicness.

As much as a fan I am of the 360, I'd have to say the PS2, for the sheer back catalogue of games it has

Out of current gen- 360, seeing as it simply has a lot more for me, looks prettier, better controller and I really don't care about Blu Ray. All time, I'd say XBox, simply because I already own 90 games for it, so wouldn't need many more.

Dreamcast. No real contest in my book. If I could save a handheld w/ it, then I'd save the GBA.

PS2 was no doubt the greatest console ever and will never be bettered by anything. It must be saved.

Although.... my N64 never messed me around with "memory cards" or "multi-taps" and had some truly awesome games... so out of simple, illogical love I'd save that.

SNES, by far the one i would want to keep. Its teh systen that really brought out the best in all the popular game series. (Mario, Kirby, etc)

I would say my Ps3 it has all my games for my Ps-X and Ps2 and their save files.

I dunno... Rock Band is multi-format...

The PC would allow us to progress gaming indefinatly and keep updating and upgrading our tech, preventing the limitations of any sole console from holding us back. All games on all platforms can be reproduced on a PC, for it versatility it is unmatched.

Also: PCs count. The OP says so, and he who founded the thread ordains its purpose. Regardless of opinion, he / she is above contradiction when it comes to setting the rules of a thread "game". So PC counts.

Imagine a world without them, we'd be screwed!
Plus, we can just re-engineer consoles again from the PC base, like the first time around.

If we counted the computer, then we'd also have to count the mobile phone, the TV, and so on. A console is really a device designed primarily for gaming, something that I highly doubt anyone could say was the computers purpose.

Well.. I could certainly point out some times in my life where the main purpose of my PC was for gaming.
