| I was reading this: http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.83447 and it got me thinking about all the (crappy) game-to-film adaptions that have been happening (most notably, Resident Evil) and i thought to my self.. Broken sword. Now there's a game that could really use an adaption, a faithful one ( to an extent obviously, we don't want to watch george select options slowly with an onscreen curser.) I think it could be, if done correctly, really enjoyable. Hell, old george stobart needs the media attention. He was like, the best blonde-american ever. I'm kidding, but really, what do you guys think? and please, i already know the Resi films sucked ass and Degeneration fucked with the continuity of the series.
thanks for reading. |
| While we're at it, they should do a Gabriel Night movie where the protagonist is trying to make a mustache by chasing a cat under a fence for most the movie.
But I kid - there's tons of games out there that'd make for good movies. Really, the setting of a game or movie is easy, the trouble is always with the execution. |
| I LOVE the Broken Sword games, and I see what you're getting at, but if the film does turn out to be crap, I'd be reminded of that every time I load up a Broken Sword game. No thanks! :P
Can I just say Nico being hot and Nico being french are exactly the same thing? ;) |

Hell no, I've met some very unattractive frenchies. Don't believe the tv. They're not all suave and sophisticated. I've seen it. |
| I'm pretty sure that they're working on a Broken Sword movie... no solid facts about it yet I don't think. Personally the idea of a BS movie just brings up the word 'why?' in my head.
Also, in case you haven't heard a Director's Cut of BS1 is being made for the DS and Wii with new puzzles and locations added. |

Very true. They can be hairy and absurdly stinky. There's a reason one of my old French teachers (an American native) was considered wierd for taking a shower every day while she was living in France. |

They are not, furthermore, she's FRENCH!! Half-way through sex she'd say "Alright!! AH GEEV UP!" As they do.
