Muckraker Posts: 287 Joined: 14 Jan 2009 | You know, that one's okay. I've had a few rounds where we SLAUGHTERED the guys under the walkway. It takes a little teamwork, but it's easy to do. It's less a glitch and more strategy (a decent one if you can handle yourself). I usually won't do it unless the other team does the elevator glitch. |

Ah well, new left 4 dead content supposedly coming next week and supposedly including a new campaign WOOT. By the way, are you guys playing this on pc or 360? I play on PC but I think it's a crime they charge you for content, not to mention Valve really seem to despise home consoles. |

It's not like you can get kills with the glitch - every time you attack, you're a sitting duck. I'm taking a long break from the game because of the glitch and the idiocy of most people who play this game, because it's not fun anymore. I believe it's one of the most replayable, genius games ever made, but I don't deal with this crap. L4D is supposed to be a strategy game, but this glitch makes it just like any other average shooter - those who know the most glitches win. That sucks. |

It is a great strategy and not underhanded because the closet was place there for a reason unlike the infinate hunter spawns. |

There is also another thing soon after that where you move a forklift to block a doorway. That level can take half an hour. What really sucks is the similar Glitch on the sewer level. They can move a garbage bin on top of the ladder that leads to the hospital. You can't get past it. That really pisses me off. |

Most games when my team blocks the way I unblock it because (and I am serious) it offends my honour. But when moving it the traped surivors shoot me, and its not because they think I'm attacking. Sometimes they let me do it for a bit then just shoot me on sight. So I just leave them to rot. If you are a surivor and it happend, leave the game. |

oopsie... Yeah when this happened to me a smoker eventually moved it out of the way for us but I sort of shot him on instinct the first time. We actually thought it was some sort of AI Director thing, but now I know that people suck. Kudos for helping though. |

Please stop using the "blocking" glitch in No Mercy. You know the one I'm talking about - you put the trailer in front of the elevator door or some such thing. Stop it. Please. It ruins the game. Honestly, if you aren't good enough to take a team down the old-fashioned way, play Halo.
