It belongs here dont' worry about that. more to the point game informer is and has been bad. thats the end of the story, no addendum. they are just there for advertising, think a print version of gamespot. P.S. I love your name, listening to I've got you under my skin right now.
Well, in my opinion, Game Informer was never all that great to begin with. If you have no alternative, I guess you could do worse, but you're really much better off getting your news, features and reviews elsewhere. Used to be able to count on EGM for that, but that time is obviously finished. Can't even be sure about 1up.com anymore. Gaming journalism is a cruel mistress.
I have always liked GI but in recent years the quility has started to become lack luster.
It's relevant enough, but you really should try to find a more descriptive thread title.
I was expecting a Pink Floyd in Rock band thread. All the mags have been going down it seems (except you Escapist!), maybe because the intresting stuff is too risky in this recession so "Halo 3:ODST Preview 3.5!" must be selling I guess...
I used to read GI a year or two ago, but it seems that recently I have been disagreeing with a lot that they say. I've also already heard about all of their news/previews/reviews from other sources by the time that the magazine comes out.
Game Informer to me is getting worse and worse. I started subscribing when they did the Crackdown feature and it was alright but as said in Zero Originality GI has this strange ability to suck even more every issue.
Your thoughts?
(Oh and do you think this belongs here? Its a gaming magazine but... hmm...)
