At least they have a parent to pay for it this time when they inevitably fuck up, and they will. However if that future also brings a PC version of KOF XIV and another SNK fighting game that does not look like lower mid tier 3D wank they can experiment as much as they damn well please.

https://www.humblebundle.com/store/arcana-heart-3-love-max Arcana Heart 3 LOVE MAX!!!!! is currently on a huge sale on Humble Bundle. Even though its the Steam version its not on sale through Steam directly so I left the HB link.

Rev 2 English release details emerge!

http://guiltygear.us/rev2/

I heard about that a little while ago. I did not know it was not already dated.

It was only for Japan but Xrd has been doing nigh simultaneous releases so we all just took it to be for the US too but having official confirmation and a few new images and stuff is always nice and not everyone is as informed about this stuff as us so this may help them. :p

I am still curious if Xrd Rev 2 will introduce any new characters though.

Baiken and Answer are the new chars, we may get more later.

Xrd Rev was just confirmed for Europe this year as well with no date currently given.

Fuck me for waking up late. Unfortunate. :(

http://shoryuken.com/2017/03/01/ceo-gaming-and-rivals-of-aether-partner-up-with-a-ceo-ring-stage-made-especially-for-ceo-dreamland/ Kind of cool to see a stage based on a tournament. Maybe one day I can see the real CEO myself.

So I finally did it; I installed a mod for SFV.

So we have a release date for Rev 2 in Japan, coupled with new images!

That is the change I needed and I do not even has a Ps4.

What?

http://shoryuken.com/2017/03/08/chaos-code-new-sign-of-catastrophe-is-coming-to-playstation-4-and-steam-on-march-15th/

Steam port you say? Well that is just dandy! And the game hits both platforms so soon? Also neat. I was not the biggest fan of Chaos Code. In fact its blandness in design astounded me but the game is fun. Knowing that the already long confirmed port of the recent arcade content is coming to PC as well is delightful.

Chaos Code had no netplay which was a deathknell. The asian ver has been out for a while for ps4, fun game.

Ps4 users get hyped for Whip in KOF XIV, I guess. I have no experience with the game or its DLC but she looks around 5 USD or your regional equal.

kof xiv has a free demo dlc available to try. I tried it but never bothered much with it.
it seems awkward playing without standard abc combos, airdashes, double jumps, etc i'm so used to.

It does and the game is good it definitely has its own feel like a lot of fighters do I understand it feeling awkward from what you are used to and that can make it hard to get into but its definitely worth a go. You hear of a lot of SF players never giving anything else ago especially Arcs or French Breads stuff because its different from what they are used to which is a shame as there are so many good fighters out there at the moment and ones from different devs especially have their own distinct feel.

As mentioned Whip is out also another character has been released for Dissidia Arcade but its only the Emperor from FF2 so not exactly hype. There have been more rumblings of a Dissidia arcade port to PS4 now since the year exclusivity is up but I feel and hope they add more characters first. At least have the Duodecim cast in on launch.

Also has anyone seen the DOA X Arc costume set it actually looks really good I may even get them.

doa dlc costume list is pretty crazy. it's way too expensive to buy everything

I am more interested in the fact that SNK just revealed Yamazaki.

We have USA release date/price confirmation for Rev2!

May 26 (1 day after Japan) and $20-upgrade $40-disc, so it's all as expected.

Has anyone played last blade 2 before?? Basically this vid covers how epic it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LaBTzgP1LlA

I downloaded the game's remake on vita a few months ago. Never played the series before but it was a great game indeed. SNK have a lot of these gems that nobody knows. I still use its theme for my vita.

I have played a bit on PS4 and some on an emulator before that although I would rate my experience with the game as very very low. However I feel it is an excellent fighting game and imo quite possibly the most beautiful fighter ever made.

I believe that if this game had the street Fighter name on it then it would be held in higher regards than third strike.

What a strange and interesting case. I do want Six Stars on PC but I have no idea what Prefundia is and the page will not load for me currently.

Here's a great rev 2 stream showing gameplay with the new chars and a bunch of news. Rev 2 is hitting arcades wednesday btw so more footage will start pouring in.

Guilion:
I wanna know how to git gud at Psychic Force 2012 :3

I did not even know they did a sequel. I was literally playing Psychic Force on PSX Saturday and while I like the idea its execution was a bit of a mess to be honest. Just looked up the sequel and just from the way they move it looks tighter as you would expect but no idea how it feel to play.

There is a Touhou game on the Japanese PSN that is as far as I can tell basically Psychic Force just (from what I have heard) much better.

Also played Battle Arena Toshiden and its still the fun mess of a game I remember one of the characters fell off the stage when doing her victory animation which was quite amusing.

After playing Bushido Blade again and a game I have never played before but had quite some fun with called Kengo: Master of Bushido I would really like someone to try and make a 3d one hit kill semi realistic weapon fighter again.

Hey it is not easy to get good at an obscure game like that but if you love it do it. Show the world what that game can really do with high level play. I do not really know of any sources for it. Need to try it sometime but then I need to grab a Dreamcast sometime.

tried chaos code a little, and got to say i'm pretty surprised how entertaining it is. seems like a combination of kof and aksys feel, with 3rd strike like choose some of your own move option.

I don't really have time to play anything or learn anything atm though, and don't know if it'll even be worth it, with games no one plays, unless it's one I really like.

Blade Arcus from Shining: Battle Arena is currently half off on Steam.

Play it some more for a while and see how it feels after some time. Learn a few things if you can. If you like it you like it no matter how many people play it. :)

So I just got Blazblue: Continuum Extend for Xbox One, since I don't own a PS4 or a Switch and therefore can't play Central Fiction and I have no idea WTF I'm doing.
