Simple, but decently executed platformer/shooter/rising ocean of shit game.
- Dan Teasdale, Harmonix
Can't seem to get to the first platform. Is there something higher than the regular jump? A rising tide of poo....really? Seems like a very uninspired attempt.
- Brian Bright, Neversoft
Doesn't quite qualify as a game, but at least it has personality and gets 2 point of fun for using the word 'poo'.
- Joby-Rome Otero, Luxoflux
I borrowed a huge stack of Atari 2600 games from my cousin; none had instructions, and 'Adventure' was totally confusing.
- Chad Dezern, Insomniac
Oh, I get it; it's not really a game at all, and I suck for expecting there to be one -- I got told. :(
- Greg McClanahan, Kongregate
An excellent digital representation of life's unyielding disappointments.
- Nate Fox, Sucker Punch
A minimalist masterpiece, artfully affecting a deconstruction the ludological aesthetic motive while grounding its potentially rarefied subject matter in a scatological and thus implicitly populistic framework by framing the action with an unthinking nemesis that can only be described as the foremost manifestation of Yahtzee's artistic struggle and, indeed, the primary artistic tension that is his work's raison d'etre.
- Richard Dansky, Red Storm
Interesting little mishmash of mini-games, but each one is rather shallow and basic - it's let down by its refusal to specialise.
- Yahtzee
