Of course we need more FPS in post-apocalyptic settings. I mean, what else are we going to do? Set them in World War 2? Pft. Who will play that?

How far will you go for Rome: Total War 2...or wait, now they've changed the title to Total War: Rome 2. Last week Sega announced the strategy game's September 3rd release date. Several retailers made the title available for preorder during the announcement, and only one offered a discount worth noting.

Right now you can preorder the Steam-activated Total War: Rome 2 for $44.97 from Green Man Gaming after a 25% off coupon code. Elsewhere you'll have to pay the full $60 list price. We saw a similar GMG coupon discount on Battlefield 4 disappear after only a few days, so this deal may only be around for a limited time. Preorder copies are bundled with the first DLC Greek Culture Pack which adds Athens, Sparta, and Epirus to the game's playable factions.

Metro series fans will be happy to know today's release of Metro: Last Light is getting positive gaming reviews across the board. Metacritic is showing an 83/100 and The Escapist gave it a 4.5/5 star rating. Thanks to a 20% off coupon, you can snag the PC download version for $40 instead of the $50 all other retailers are charging.

Today GameFly launched a midweek "Battlefield Sale" with discounts up to 75% off on popular titles like Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 2 Complete. Perhaps the best discount is on the Battlefield 3 Premium Service which upgrades your existing Standard version to Premium Edition. The Premium Service is discounted to $10 instantly, making a new low price by $10.

Call of Duty: Ghosts doesn't release for another six months, but the PC download version's gotten a few preorder bonuses thus far. Today marks the first time we've seen an actual discount on the much-anticipated title, and somewhat surprisingly, it's for the console versions. Xbox 360 and PS3 owners can now preorder Ghosts for $53 after a $7 NewEgg coupon that expires May 20th.

Minecraft Pocket Edition for Android devices is on sale at the Amazon Appstore for $3.99 (take that Google Play). Considering the game hardly goes on sale and expanded multiplayer capability will be released soon (currently multiplayer only works via WiFi), this is a solid deal. The game's gotten hundreds of rave reviews and even comes with a bonus $1 Amazon MP3 credit free of charge.
