Ubisoft Displays Wii Steering Wheel

Ubisoft has released details on a new Wii racing wheel for the GT Pro Series and 4x4: World Circuit.

In an interview with IGN, Ubisoft producer Tats Myoio announced that GTO Pro Series and Monster 4x4: World Circuit will be packed with a steering wheel attachment. The new peripheral may be the first 3rd party device on the market for the Nintendo Wii.

Thrustmaster, a popular game peripheral manufacturer, is developing the steering wheel. Nintendo's Wii Remote will snap into the center of it while still allowing access to the remote's buttons. IGN has confirmed that other Wii titles will be compatible with the device, including Excite Truck, Cars, and SpongeBob Squarepants.
