Electronic Arts Hires New Asia Online President

| 11 Oct 2006 15:38

Electronics Arts has appointed ex-Vivendi president to head online division.

Electronic Arts announced that it has hired Hubert Larenaudie to be the president of the company's online division in Asia. This job will entail the management of online products and distribution throughout the Asian region.

The former head of EA's Asia online division, Erick Hachenburg, reportedly left the company after completing his second year working in China to build the development and publishing studios abroad. Larenaudie previously worked at Vivendi Universal Games at the helm of Vivendi's Asia and Pacific operations, helping to bring World of Warcraft and Starcraft to the foreign audience.
