Ex-DICE Employees Form Redjade Studio

| 17 Oct 2006 13:50

Ex-employees of Digital Illusions CE have started a new outsourcing game studio.

Fredrik Liljegren, the previous CEO of Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment (DICE) Canada, and many members of the old DICE Canada team have banded together to form Redjade Studio. Redjade Studio will provide art development services and consulting for other game companies out of their headquarters in London, Ontario. DICE Canada was recently shot down when publisher and developer Electronic Arts purchased the Sweden-based company. Liljegren has worked in the industry for 18 years, and attempted to form Redjade in 2000.

Fredrik believes that Redjade has opportunities to grow, and announced, "This sector of the industry is just now coming into limelight as the game industry is adapting and seeking more flexible and efficient development processes. We're confident that our creative approach and well established processes will address a need in this industry."
