| 4 Jan 2007 14:15

Tim Gerritsen leaves his job as the CEO of Human Head Studios.

Firing Squad revealed that Timothy Gerritsen left his position as the CEO of Human Head Studios prior to Thanksgiving in 2006. Human Head president and co-founder Paul MacArthur has stepped in as the interim CEO until a new candidate has been selected.

After the company was formed in 1998 by a team of ex-Raven Software employees, Gerritsen became the company's CEO. Gerritsen served as the studio's public figure and leader throughout projects including Dead Man's Hand and Prey. He stated that he left the company because of disputes between himself and the other owners on the direction of the company. Tim Gerritsen plans to remain within the industry.
