Tabula Rasa Begins Beta Sign-Ups

NCsoft has begun an open sign-up for their new sci-fi action MMOG Tabula Rasa.

The game, which is being executive produced by Richard Garriott, is described by NCsoft as a sci-fi action shooter that "combines fast-paced action with the immersion of a role-playing game." The online game is set in the future, where a group of humans fight against a xenophobic alien race known as "The Bane."

The game was shown most recently at the 2006 E3, where it offered a limited amount of playable content. The beta appears to be limited as well, with few details available as to what is available in the game in regards to classes, combat, and game dynamics, saying only that characters are supplemented by creating and using "Logos," patterns that will give characters extra abilities to help fight enemies.

NCsoft lists the release date for the game only as "2007" on their website.
