World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Makes History

Blizzard announced today that the first expansion for World of Warcraft, The Burning Crusade, blazed through current first day sales records for PC games.

World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade sold 2.4 million copies in a single 24-hour period, making it the bestselling PC title in North America and Europe. By the end of launch day, 1.7 million people had logged in to upgrade their accounts.
