NHL 2k7 Tournament Finals to be held at NHL All Star Game

The semi-final and final rounds of the NHL 2K7 All-Star Challenge Tournament are scheduled to take place in February during the 55th NHL-All Star Game.

2K Sports, the makers of NHL 2K7, has arranged to integrate the final two rounds of their online tournament for the Xbox, Xbox360 and PlayStation2 into the festivities surrounding the NHL All-Star Game.

This tournament is part of a growing trend to develop videogaming as a spectator sport, and to increase the mainstream exposure of competitive play.

The finals themselves will be held on the center ice during the second intermission of the game on February 24, 2007.
