Nintendo Enjoys Incredible Q3 Numbers

Nintendo announced today that amazing sales of the Nintendo DS console and DS software, plus the successful launch of the Wii have together pushed Nintendo's net sales up 72.8 percent over the same nine-month period last year.

Nineteen software title shipments have sold more than 1 million units worldwide: three Wii titles, 13 DS titles and three Game Boy Advance titles. 1.4 million Wiis have connected to the internet as of January 24, 2007, and more than 3.5 million unique users have registered on Nintendo's WiFi connection for the DS.
