Take-Two Executive Joins Geomerics

Gary Lewis of Take-Two joins middleware developer Geomerics.

Representatives from middleware developement studio Geomerics announced that Gary Lewis of Take-Two will be taking the position of Chief Executive Officer.

Gary Lewis has spent the last eight years at Take-Two Interactive, most recently as the global Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Chris Doran, the current Geomerics CEO, will be taking the role of COO. Geomerics, based out of Cambridge, England, has created and patented multiple programming algorithms dealing with radiosity and lighting effects.

Dr. Doran said of Lewis' addition, "Appointing a CEO has been a major priority for us and we're delighted Gary has joined us. People of his caliber are few and far between. His vision, experience and clear-thinking will be invaluable to the success of Geomerics."

Lewis said, "Geomerics is in its infancy but it's evident that their skills and technology are immensely important in the development of titles for this generation of consoles. Here, I've seen the future and am very excited to be part of it."
