Bioware to License SpeedTree RT for Future Projects

| 13 Feb 2007 20:25

Interactive Data Visualization Inc. announced that BioWare, makers of popular games Knights of the Old Republic, Neverwinter Nights, and the Baldurs Gate Series, has licensed use of IDV's SpeedTree RT software for use in their upcoming game, Dragon Age.

After witnessing the quality of the SpeedTree RT software and experiencing the ease with which it could be integrated in Dragon Age's current engine, BioWare signed on to do a multi-game company-wide licensing deal with IDV.

IDV president Michael Sechrest assures the fans of BioWare's products that future titles will continue to meet the expectation of the highest standards and quality.
